This was a hard one for me but I loved it. Giving it as a gift! When I mat it do I leave a white edge on the bottom or go right up to the stems? Thanks Louise

A pleasure Nancy- I hope the recipient loves it! Take the mat right to the bottom of the stems. The only time I wouldn't do that is if I had finished the stem or stems with a soft jagged edge before reaching the bottom of the paper. Because these stems have a straight edge along the bottom- the mat needs to touch that edge. Thank you!
