It looks like I'm definitely doing a new 2-page Milk & Cheese comic for the next A1 Deadline magazine kickstarter. I don't know what the subject will be, because, of course, there are no Milk & Cheese stories, only subjects. Or something like that.

Subjects? Targets? Mishegas?

I don't know what it will be "about". They could sit on a couch for two pages or rip up some ICE agents or crack some nerd skulls. Or do all three. I just know it'll be Milk & Cheese. It always depends on frame of mind and where the potential "jokes" lead. The hope is that A1 Deadline continues and I can do regular installments and let them loose on a variety of things along the way. Just like in the old Deadline days. Very...old...Deadline days.

I haven't done a new comic with my little fiends in about thirteen years (had to look it up, ouch), so I'm actually kind of nervous. And I don't make many new comics these days, I've mostly made some Fun strips and some index cards gag strips these last few years. I'm out of practice making "regular" comics and feeling very rusty and unhappy with my art these days. I just want it to be funny and look good. Hopefully A1 Deadline keeps going and I can keep doing these and maybe get back into the swim of things. I have to get back to the drawing board and make good on some things and start making some comics about alcoholic dairy products hitting people. Cripes, there's so many people to hit nowadays...

So, I'm anxious but also looking forward to drawing my guys in a comic again. I'll post some process along the way, I'll probably be starting the comic in mid-late February.
