Housing Inspection (Patreon)

Hello kind people, and thank you for your support this fine August!

Some of you may have seen my last post where I mentioned my computer dying, and losing a large chunk of my sound library. This hasn't slowed me down on Wall World too much since I've just been animating, and haven't touched the audio since then. Since I might not be able to reuse all the synths and instrument sounds from the finished parts of the film, it'll be interesting writing that next chunk of music and working out where to take it.

This month's paper animation is the first bit of audio I've done since, and it's been a bit of a confidence boost! Doing these loops each month has been a great way to practice my sound design, and while I didn't have my library of samples and digital instruments to fall back on, turns out I've still got a bunch of new skills and knowhow inside my brain that I haven't lost. Thanks brain!

As always, the frames from this paper animation are also the drawings I'm sending to pen pals this month, and will be shipped out later today!
