The cold, piercing winds and warmth of the slowly tickling fireplace was signs of winter solstice coming to a close, the Yule festival is here! But this year.. something is off, the saint got into an accident and couldn't deliver the presents like he always used to do, so he asked his best friend - the horned god that is known as "The Krampus" - to bear the gifts instead. When he arrived at the first house of the town, in which owned by the Badgers family, they were shocked when they saw the long-tongued, curly horned creature standing big and tall in front of them, they slowly stood back and slam the door shut on his snout.Hurt and a bit heart broken, he ventures deeper into the town, carrying his bucket of presents . . .

It's the first one!!!! I'm really excited to see how this is story will play out but oh nooooo 😭😭😭 poor guy! I love how contrasting the reactions of the badger family members are in this picture, I hope the more neutral/interested expression of the child gives Krampus some hope! A bit unfortunate though that the kid will go without presents this Yule lmao I too gotta say that I really love your snow themed illustrations, you do such a god job presenting the harshness of winter juxtaposed with the warmth of the home through light and colors, I also particularly love how the Krampus' tongue is a bright red, standing out and making for a great point of focus AND painting him as just that little bit more dangerous, even as the big guy looks just so loveable!
