Under Lock and Key for Fabric 1.21.11 (v0.1.1) (Patreon)

This mod requires EightSidedSquare's Zine Library Mod.

This mod also requires Fabric API.

Changes/Additions:

Keys & Locks:

The key is a new item with 16 variations.

Can be crafted by combining a nugget (or netherite scrap) with one of four stone types:

Tuff, Andesite, Diorite & Granite.

Locks are a new redstone block that powers on only if interacted with their corresponding key.

A key can be linked to multiple lock positions, but locks can only be linked with one original key.

If you want to give your friend a key to your place while keeping yours, you can copy the original key's linked lock positions to a blank key by putting them together in a crafting grid. This will not consume the original key.

Trial Keys and Ominous Trial Keys are also retroactively given the same functionality as craftable keys.

This is controlled by a "keys" tag which other mods can use to give their own items the functionality of this mod.

Overhead Iron Gate:

A new redstone block resembling a piston.

Upon right click or if powered by redstone, it will try to extend 16 blocks down. If there is any solid block in the way though, it will extend only until it hits said block.

There are more fun interactions with these blocks in-game, some already implemented and others planned for the future.

Do not distribute these mods to non-supporters unless given explicit permission by Lux.

This mod works for both Fabric and Quilt.
