🚨 This model is now ARCHIVED and no longer available for download.
Happy Wednesday- I couldn't wait until Monday! These two have been sitting on my desk staring at me and I want them in your hands today.
So — bonus drop! Two birds, both member requests, both live right now, on top of everything already coming this month. Nobody has to do anything.🩷
The Cardinal — wings out, beak open, absolutely yelling about something. He's got way more attitude than a bird that size has any right to, and he prints clean.
The Loon — she's the showstopper, and I've got a couple of honest notes for you.
Those patterns are no joke. Checkered back, neck stripes— that's a lot of color changes.
If you have a purgeless multi-toolhead setup, this is the bird you want to use it on. On a standard swap system you'll burn more filament in purge than the model actually weighs. Worth knowing before you hit go!!
And second — full honesty — I'm not especially familiar with this bird. I worked from reference and did the best I could so change the colors however you need to. Simplify the wing pattern, drop the speckling, swap the palette to whatever your setup actually likes. She still reads as a loon with a fraction of the work. Print the version that makes sense for your printer, not mine.😁
As always setting are down below for reference!
More MagBuddies Monday, same as always.💞
Happy Printing Everyone!
