Hey Patrons,

In this exclusive behind-the-scenes patron video we spend some time with Rostov, Robert and Helen as they open a collection of Chinese Disco Elysium fan-mail for the very first time.

We may end up using a few seconds of footage from this in the final episode, but the art was so cool, and their reactions to it so big, that I thought it would make a nice bonus scene for all of the folks helping us pay for work like this series.

Remember, Early Access patrons have access to videos in this series a full week before they go public so if you're a Disco fan whose been thinking about upgrading, this is the perfect time.

Amazing footage, the Disco Elysium fan community produces some of the best fan art out there I think

Hiii this is Ashley, and I am absolutely thrilled by this. I'm the organizer of this gift package in the end of 2022, and I did it because I heard the sad news and that, unfortunately, our earlier gifts to ZAUM hadn't reach Robert, Rostov and Helen at all. So, we decided to do it again and this time, 25 individual fan artists/writers and 40 authors to the collective fanbook spent 4 months on preparing the gift package, and it took another few months to get to London. It has been over 3 years since the day I started it and I just wanna say that I feel so grateful that we did it. It feels so paid off. I had chills today when I saw this video. It's mainly because my Ins account I used to contact them was banned earlier this year and I couldn't get it back. I thought I'd never had the chance to hear from Rostov, Robert and Helen again, so you can imagine how I feel right now...😭I'm crying happy tears for this amazing surprise. And the best part of it? I saw this with my best friend at my side - we met because of Disco Elysium in 2021. Thank you so much for doing this with them, and sharing this with us.

Such a cool thing to do! It's lovely seeing them pouring over it all like kids 😄

This is incredible. Must be super gratifying to see fans put such work into this stuff. Rostov is so entertaining with how much of a character he is.

This is such a heart warming scene. You can really tell how much these people love their creation and how much they appreciate their fans. Thank you so much for making it happen!

I'm so impressed with you and all the artists for making this happen, you clearly made a huge impression on the developers. Thank you for spreading more love in the world.

I honestly don't know how you managed to keep hold of the camera throughout these scenes, Danny. I would have been constantly tempted to drop it and just give them all big warm hugs. And of course, you're a marvel for helping them to open up and speak so positively about their memories in the first place.
