Hey Early Access Patrons,

Apologies for the lateness on this one. This is the first time we've ever missed a scheduled release date but a combination of me flying home to bury my godmother, and then catching a fever (along with half my family) at the wake/funeral meant I spent most of this week in bed. I've just about crawled out and put the final touches on this early access episode. We'll get episode two up public now too.

It's a long one, with a lot of detail. And as I said in the intro you're probably going to want to have played disco Elysium before you jump into this one. But hopefully it shines a light on the collaborative nature of the studio, and also where individual flavors from the writing team shone through.

In terms of the "early-ness" of the edit it's basically finished aside from final color grading and I imagine a few tweaks here and there. Some of the color grade in the back-end of the doc is temp so my apologies. Content-wise, it's all there though.

We hope you enjoy it. Let us know what you think!

Screen blacks out around 38.50. Brilliant thank you so much for this video.

First of all, my condolences for the recent difficult times for you (Danny) and your family. As for the doc, I love that Olga was highlighted for her "polish" of the translation. That aspect, and the importance, of that role seems previously undersold to the masses. (I'm not done watching yet, but had to write this before I forgot. Haha)

Awesome stuff! Tiny thought: it may be just me, but Olga's audio seemed much harder to hear than everyone else.

These have all just been pure pure quality so far. 5 stars, we so rarely get this multi-angled and unvarnished insight into all the collaborative work that goes into creating such distinctive works of art, and at this length. Can't wait for the rest

Tiny tiny thing if you're still in the place to make edits before the video goes public, at 57:21 Helen's audio gets cut off. Loving the video so far!
