Uncle Jam

My friends and I watched this on 4th of July. I nominate this to be a new noclip tradition.

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts! I adore this film, but I have about three people in my life that would make it all the way through without walking out or falling asleep. Happy 10th! Thanks for all the hard work guys.

Are you guys aware of the thriving and superb modding community around the old Stalker games? These games have a cult following and after 20 years of continuous work the diversity and quality is insane. From Gamma to soup mods and everything in between. I believe the Stalker universe, from the old games to Stalker 2 to all the mods and the community is worth the attention of noclip. This is video game history still being made. I would love to hear some of the people behind the old and new games and the mods. Be warned thoigh, it's a deep rabbit hole.

This film basically changed my brain forever

I adore those games, make sure you check out the noclip game history archive tomorrow, we're dropping 4 videos about Stalker from before it's release. The modding community is a great idea though - we did want to cover STALKER2 but Microsoft made their own documentary so we felt it was surperflou.

Amazing, I'm looking forward to it! Concerning the modding community: I know that at least the Anomaly and Gamma Discords are very active and you could surely get some of the people behind the scenes on board. The Youtuber Cheeki Breeki does some amazing work documenting, cataloging and spreading mods for the games already. So he might be a good person to talk to. Besides knowing tons about Stalker mods he also has endless amounts of footage. Excited to see where this leads, whatever the outcome :)

Lads, this conversation is amazing. Really brings me back to the time when I was very much into philosophical discussions like this with my old friends. Thank you very much for publishing this. More please!
