A brief update (Patreon)

While the Tortoise is generating lines for the FD3, I thought to post about the Lola. My plan was to release more of the FD3 Finale before Christmas, but I'm running out of time, so please be patient! So, let me walk you through the stuff I've created for Lola! This post is mostly technical mambo jambo, but the images are quite cool!

1. New Skin Shader

The skin has 5 overlapping textures creating veins, subsurface scattering, base skin structure and details. I also added a special "wet" layer, where I can define which areas are oily or wet. Ofc the whole body can be wet also. There is actually quite complex math underneath, but I'm starting to be satisfied with the result.

Out of interest, I tested this in VR, and placed the old skinned character next to her, and oh boy, mine looks way more natural! Here is a sample with oiled breasts, haven't tweaked the lights at all:

2. The boob physics

The breast have 3 different systems: One to deform and wobble the skin when touching, a gravity based behavior and a cloth based squash. This means, when wearing a bra, the beasts are tightened and squashed, and when she is on her back, the breasts tends to spread out naturally, like this:

And when leaning forward, the breasts gets closer and stretching downwards:

3. Shadows and lights

Again, some complex math behind this. I actually stripped out the shadow casting and the light casting, and used that information for some emission and color scattering. This gives really nice natural looking effect for the body! Her privates has 4K textures, so you can stick your head as close as you can, and all the details are there!

Here you can see how the oil looks, and you can compare the old skin shader (man) with hers. Quite a difference:

Currently Lola has over 500 lines of base dirty talk when having fun, and those will be mixed with her personality lines later on.
