Yay, another round of TVD!!! No spoilers, viewpoint only from what you guys have watched. Matt is the saddest character in my opinion. Like you guys said he really can’t catch a break. His mom is literally the worst and his sister who was a druggie got murdered. But, why the show tries to make him and Caroline seem like a cute couple, they just aren’t. They just are wrong together. He constantly gaslights the hell out of her. “ What? “You’re being crazy!!” “I thought you were done with being insecure”…. Meanwhile everything he says and does literally is something that would make any girl feel insecure. And no, Elena is NOT guilt free. She also acts like Caroline is being crazy for bringing up how she feels. Instead of being an understanding friend and respecting her friend’s discomfort she doesn’t the complete opposite.
