Nice reading! I re read this entire book this week. I love these two so much. There is a movie, but while it is hot, it doesn't have anywhere near the depth of feeling the book does. There is a second movie coming out this summer, and book sequel.

I agree that the movie doesn't have the same depth. But I like it anyway. If you know the book you see that they tried to fit in many small things. Like the NDA Alex had to sign for Henry ("My NDA is bigger than yours.") or the joke about the height difference. It's a movie for those who read the book and discover detail after detail in the paintings on the wall, the small gestures like when Alex is constantly dragged and pushed by Zarah, Nora, Shaan and Henry - showing that Alex is not in control of his life but always does what is expected, what others think he should be and do.

Never read the book but I hope it's better than the movie. I love Nicholas and Taylor but thought most of the acting was really cheesy. Especially compared to other shows in that genre.

Tbh, when I watched the movie, I had no idea it was a book-to-screen adaptation. Never knew there was a book.
