YAYA was not expecting this today!! Thank you for these videos they are keeping me going until season 2. I’ve literally been surviving on your videos and tik tok edits. Lord have mercy

Jill

Mic sounds good

emerraldx

oh those puppy dog eyes sweetie 🥺 I was not prepared 🫠 this one always gets me flustered and that nightwing imagery 🦇

The Huddy Tommo Way

The audio is fine. Thanks for all the Heated Rivalry content. Cant wait for you to react to Hudson's podcast with Evan 💙💙

Jill

Are you considering reacting to Ember and Ice on the Quinn app? Sooooo Good! There is a subscription charge for that though.

@baydreamer

The Shut Up Evan! Interviews are good.

MichelRP

Thanks, honey!! 😘

@baydreamer

The hotel scene in Tampa where Shane hugs and rocks Ilya was the very first scene they filmed. Talk about emotional right out the gate.

Milana Smile

you mic sounds great! and you shirt looks really nice! :) i‘m so happy you enjoy hudson and connor and their Interviews and their thoughs!

The Huddy Tommo Way

And yeah I think you should do the Quinn interview before starting their individual journey

Beck Huston

Love this reaction. Did you post a Wuthering Heights reaction? I can;t find it,

CountHS

Sound is fine!

Steven Jump

Why the James Gunn hate? I'm not a fan of his but I loved Superman. I didn't like Snyder's take on Superman at all.

In the Quinn/Ember&Ice long interview they talk about their straight women fans again, and they have really interesting takes about it. I love love love to see their silly and jokey sides, but the interviews where we get to see how emotionally mature and intelligent they both are, these are so important to me.

Kurt Lindquist

Looking dapper, Dylan. Mic sounds good to me. Thanks for reacting to these interviews as I would never seek them out on my own. I was very impressed that Hudson referenced Jeff Buckley’s “Lover, You Should Have Come Over”, one of my all-time favorite songs.

Lee Lou

Came here to say something similar. Although I saw something on tiktok yesterday saying one of the crew did an interview and the first scene was the all star press conference in ep 1, then it was the vegas hotel scene from ep 2 , then the Tampa hotel scene from ep 5, where Shane comes out to Ilya.... what a day that would've been.

CC

I agree with their points at the end and also want to add that a lot of the women who are fans of hr are queer themselves. I think the question of “why do women like gay men” is pretty nuanced and yes, a part is straight women wanting a refreshing view on masculinity or wanting to not be forced into a sexualised/submissive/communicative/whatever role or finding it hot or any other reason, but also: lots of women are queer! And they’re just queer people wanting to watch queer stories. Thanks for this, it was really fun to watch with you! Excited for their podcast episodes if you choose to do that!

@baydreamer

I think Jacob confirmed that the Tampa scene was before the Vegas scene.

Susan AKA Maisy13(YT)

Loving these, and can't wait for the next, I hope you get around to all the Shorts and other media the guys have been in. Snow Angel is one of my faves. Also, would love your thoughts on Jerry the Ginger Eater. Also, I thought the mic was fine.

Dennis A

I was sitting here anxiously anticipating you getting to the Hudson's yearning bottom eyes part because I knew that was going to make you feel a certain way. 😉🤭

Nomi Saxton

Love to watch you listen to Ember and Ice

Rsbl

can't wait for their episodes on Shut Up Evan podcast too(The Hudson one is in 2 episodes) 😋 Also HR crew won 16/16 awards at the Canadian Screen award last night, also Hudson being the youngest person ever to win Best Lead performer at CSA !!

Nomi Saxton

There are a couple places on Reddit you can find it for free

Mark100

Keanu Reeves, YES. The very first time I laid eyes on Hudson that's who I thought of.

Heidi

When Hudson said he’s unemployed…..it certainly didn’t last long! Also, their long interviews are far and away better than these silly ones. Please find the one where Michelle Williams calls in and asks him a question and you can literally see him leave his body, he’s so shook. He’s just so real.

Heidi

Agree! The serious interviews are so much better.

Chris

I actually saw lots of their interviews before watching the show. I heard about the show, looked up the spicy stuff first - duh - but then I started watching tons of interviews with Jacob, Rachel and the actors. I knew nothing about the show at that point, but I couldn't stop watching them in real life. They literally had me hooked before I actually watched it. Even then, I still wasn't sure I would watch the thing since I was NOT going to watch something that didn't have a true happy ending. I was tired of tragic gay stories. My sister drove it home that it's from a romance book and all of them have happy endings. So I watched. I honestly think that seeing them as real people first made their acting even better. I mean, Shane obviously changed for the show, and his acting is stunning. Then there's Connor and his unbelievable transformation into Ilya. Even when he's not talking, he is a different person. He does stuff with his face so that even in a still pic you can tell if he's Connor or Ilya. Even model Connor, with the dead runway model face, looks different than Connor or Ilya. It's crazy. One of my absolute favorite bits from any of their interviews is here where Hudson talks about what he'd do to Shane. If you needed any evidence that Hudson isn't similar to Shane, there it is. I'm glad you are watching the interviews. I really do think it gives you a better appreciation of the acting jobs they did. Plus, they are just funny, and funny is always worth watching.

Alessia Scalora

React to Hudson doing his skincare routine. Best, must, chaotic, 20 minutes ever 😂

ML

I really enjoyed your reactions. I would like to recommend an interview with them both and Jacob Tierney „Heated Rivalry brings authentic queer love to the screen“ Here is the link: https://youtu.be/bEpwCQr0QZk?is=FWYOJy9x0EgTi5gj

William T Clements

I saw an interview of Connor's where he indicated he attended a Clown School ... hence, the animated gestures where they were discussing why he dragged the chair from the living room to the bedroom of the hotel instead of picking it up. There is also a video on YouTube where they indicated the last scene they filmed was the fireside scene at The Cottage - with the crew and our boys giving thanks to each other for their hard work in filming the series in such a short time.

Steens

Liked watching this with you and hearing your thoughts! I also think it’s so fascinating to watch their interviews and it can almost make you appreciate the acting in the show even more

Geneva Driedger

I’d recommend doing their individual ones next! Hudson’s interview on Shut Up Evan was so great, Connor’s was too but I preferred the one he did on Owen Thiele’s podcast, he seemed really comfortable.

Becca Pelzl

I can’t waaaaiiiit for you do the long form interviews. Do not miss Connor on Owen Thiele’s podcast!!!
