Would love to hear from the crowd whether you experienced problematic bullying in school, for sexuality or other reasons. I didn't get bullied, but i did get witch hunted in the time between starting and finishing coming out. Once I stood up and publically talked about how the school had failed to support me institutionally as an organization, effectively coming out to the entire community, people backed off. Some kinda tried a bit, but I basically could make it their problem. Some people talked shit about me privately, but i saw that as fine. It just told me who wasn't worth my time. Amusingly, in the comic version of this story, Tori legitimately poofs into existence sometimes.

ngl i forgot how annoying Charlie is. He's so woe is me and corny. I get he's getting bullied but he gets so in his head about him and Nick that he neglects his friends. Especially in later seasons.

I didn't get bullied but we were pretty quiet about it. It was my best friend that I had a relationship with so people just always assumed we were super close anyways. We always just seemed to know who we could tell, who we could trust with our truth. When I'd left school and properly came out, my mum, in particular, always said I was just saying it for attention. She never accepted it. No one else gave me any trouble 💜

I was bullied relentlessly for being overweight. Looking back I was “thick” but not crazy obese or anything. It still has me fucked up 40 years later. Kids are such assholes.

Charlie has mental health issues due to his bullying. in his mind, he believes his very existence is annoying to some people. it's sad.
