I have the Kennedy imprisonment open at this very moment!

Erika Ruymgaart

Not too different. I see the parallels. We all probably do.

Wow … this one means so much! I was an impressionable 8th grader, well aware of politics and the upcoming election. The tragic loss of Robert Kennedy devastated me. I was surprised at how the world seemed to just go on. My parents said nothing. I saw Robert Kennedy as a great man, and felt I was informed enough to come to that conclusion. This letter was heartening ~ thank you, Sir, and prayers for you always.

This one doesn't read like Miles, it really just reads like the other letters. Not surprising given the AI creator but I expected at least one Motherfucker

" There's a kind of courage that isn't loud. It doesn't announce itself. It just keeps going." Miles Davis, in both his music and his words valued truth, I think. RFK too. And that's why I enjoyed this letter so much. Thank you.

Adam Selzer

Based on his autobiography. I feel like even when writing to Kennedy, Miles would have used the term “motherfucker” several more times.

Maria

This is a kind letter with good advices, from someone very dear to someone very lucky to have this friend. ❤️

dear miles, let us not underestimate the power of music to share in the heavy lifting of america's conscience. it's those "quieter voices" i'm able to hear with the heart while floating upward in a song like Blue in Green. your music helps me stand in that fire and go another darkened, deafening day. so, thank you. let us continue journeying upward, in Truth, together. "teamwork makes the dreamwork" as Mother always said. or was that our family motto? yours, robert 🤍

Thank you, Stan.

Miles Davis talks a lot about silence in his interviews, I feel like that part is really genuine. Mr. Lukas did his research

".. But I’ve come to believe that we’re both chasing the same thing: a kind of truth that can’t be faked. In music, you can hear it right away when someone’s lying. In public life, it takes longer, but you feel it just the same." I like how Bob insists and gently leads us down this path of truth, where listening seems to matter as much as speaking.... This is so deeply, generously Bob Dylan!
