Just like the Disney+ show, my week is filled with Muppets Mayhem. Not only did I upload 2 long videos that are related to the Muppets, but I'm also working on a new project that is, again, related to Kermit's crew. And yes, it's the continuation of my biggest project that's currently ongoing. However, not everything I did is all Muppet-related, as I'm currently taking a break from that and starting my weekly round of reviewing summer movies, beginning with the long-awaited Disney live-action remake. With that said, let's get down to the week.

- Released my review of The Muppets Mayhem: For this one brief moment, I decided to bring back The Muppet Vlog so that I can go and talk about Disney's latest major installment to the Muppet franchise. Of course, as a major Muppet fan, I was hyped up for this series, and got through binging the whole thing in just one day. I won't say that this is the best show you'll find on the platform, but I was satisfied with it. I feel like this is the best that the Muppets have been in years and everything related to them was on-point like the characters, comedy, cameos, and of course, the music. In fact, I'm still jamming to the soundtrack to this day. However, the one flaw that's preventing me from saying that it's a great show is the elements not related to the Electric Mayhem. Specifically, the human characters. I don't like 'em with their mostly sleazy personalities and weak plot lines. It makes it worse when it feels like Lily Singh is trying to steal the spotlight from the band to make the show about herself. However, when the show gets it right, it's a lot of fun. And at the very least, we are seeing some great progress from the Muppets compared to the 2015 series. If there is a next time,  let the Muppets do more of the cooking.

- Released the Tier List of Which Muppet Would Most Likely Say F***:  Considering that in the last few years, Tier Lists have become the new Top 10s. The way the Internet ranks things from Worst to Best is now with this score board where each subject is graded. Eventually, I knew that my turn would come to try this out (at least before the whole trend dies out), but at this point, Ranking videos are feeling the same and so much has already been done. I remember a while back seeing this goofy meme where characters get ranked by who is most likely to say f*** and that's what sparked my idea of what I can do to make a Tier List video that could stand out from the rest. An idea that completely dumb, but something to throw your brain to the side for the sake of watching a video and just have fun. And considering that my channel is a little more Muppet centric, I feel like the large cast is the perfect subject to start this experiment. It could be a gamble, but if this works and fans are enjoying it and the video gets more attention, I may have a new series on my hands and I could rank more groups of characters by who would say f***. Only time will tell if that happens, but I'd be down to try this again.

- Writing Part 6 of Animation Lookback: The Muppets: It's been a few months since the last time I worked on this series, but now with the small errands out of the way, I'm back on AL to continue the story of the Muppets. I will say that this is an interesting chapter because this is often considered to be one of the darkest periods in their history. The main parts will not be about the projects they released at that time, but what occured behind the scenes, especially when Disney finally bought the Muppets. As you're reading this, I haven't finished the script, but I'd say that I got a good portion of it complete, and once I get through the review I"m working on now, I'll finish off what's needed to be written and hand it over to my fact checkers. It's looking to be in great shape, so add this to your list to hype about for this summer.

- Currently working on my review of The Little Mermaid (2023): Peter Pan and Wendy was just practice. This is the real Disney live-action remake to take on. Surprisingly, the reception from what I heard before seeing the movie myself is decently positive. Not great of course, but the reviews have been mostly positive. As a DLAR, my expectations are kind of low, but we'll see how this will go. I'm prepared to go and make a big review out of this one and let out all my thoughts on the matter (including the controversies that surround it), so at the very least, this is all to produce a memorable review. Maybe I'll get something good out of it, but worst case, there's always the original I can use as a refresher.

So that's been my week of Muppets and mermaids. Like I said, I know that this will be the beginning of how most of my weeks will look like throughout the summer. I'll make sure not to overwork myself as I will continuously jump from one ongoing project to the next new review, but one thing's for sure, I'll give you all one heck of a summer lineup with my videos. So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!

You certainly had an interesting spin on the tier list. Also good luck with The Little Mermaid, I'll say the singing quality is at least above average.

It a good Muppet related videos that you did so I’ll give you credit for it. Also, I hope the Little Mermaid doesn’t give you any pain given that it getting mixed to positive reviews and I have seen early screenings on Wednesday but I’ll save my thoughts when your review comes out.

Good luck with the Little Mermaid remake, especially with addressing the controversies surrounding it.
