There may not have been as much hype for Pixar’s feature, Elemental, as some of the previous ones, but you’ll find out in this review that, just because Elemental doesn’t have Pixar’s master level of quality, doesn’t mean that it isn’t worth watching or that it’s even close to being bad

Yeah, the toxic mentality of Pixar fans holding Pixar’s films to the standards they set during their Golden Age from 1995 to 2010, is really starting to get annoying and they should really stop holding Pixar to meet those standards. Not every film is going to be a masterpiece and that’s okay. Heck, Disney releases some average films in between masterpieces and it’s not a big deal, but when Pixar releases an average film, it’s worth getting upset over?! Even more annoying than the toxic Pixar fanboys hating or refusing to see their film that doesn’t meet up their expectations set by the standard from their Golden Era is them using this recent era of Pixar as an example of things going downhill without freaking John Lasseter! Arrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!! There’s no pleasing those fan boys! 🤦‍♂️

I ended up really enjoying this movie, while I definitely agree that this isn’t one of Pixar’s best animated films, it still is solid as is. I will agree that the story is a little bit messy, but the love story does make up for it, the animation is absolutely gorgeous and definitely what you expect from Pixar, and the characters while not the best, are still solid as is. Overall, while not Pixar’s strongest, it is still very good on its own. I also thought Carl's Date was a very enjoyable short and a great final performance from Ed Asner an Carl. And honestly I am really hoping that more people will go out and support this movie to at least encourage Disney and Pixar to make more original animated films, and not have a case of sequelitus again considering we are getting stuff like Toy Story 5, Frozen 3, Zootopia 2 and Inside Out 2. And besides, I would much rather go ahead and support a movie like Elemental than give a single cent of my money to Warner Bros. for The Flash, seriously I would rather support a sub par Pixar movie instead of a superhero movie starring a real life criminal with Ezra Miller, someone who absolutely faced no consequences for their actions and coming from a studio who literally did nothing about the situation and literally enabled their behavior, and honestly seeing The Flash flop on its opening weekend and seeing Warner Bros get what they deserve for defending Ezra Miller is so satisfying.

I did watch it on Thursday before I head to work and it was good but not great. Yeah I do think the writing was average and the plot was too familiar and predictable especially when we know how the outcome turns and I thought the humor was hit and miss I mean some of the visual gag but when it comes other things like the puns, I kinda rolled my eyes a bit. I also do think it struggles in balancing the plot between a romance story and an immigrant story too that kinda bogged the movie down. The rest are pretty good from the animation, voice acting, some of the heart, immigrant commentary, the romance parts despite a plot balance struggle, music score by Thomas Newman which comes to think of it, we been getting some good animated films that has some great music scores from Mario, to Spiderverse, to now this so I hope that continues, and characters, while I don’t think they’re that memorable nor strong, are decently likable. For the most part, it a good film and I would put this on par with Onward where the heart and animation is there, but not strong when it comes to the storytelling and writing. It a 7/10 for me. Also, the Up short was cute and surprisingly to see Ed Asner manage to reprise his role for this short before he passed away so at least I’m glad he managed to do so at the time. Finally, while I don’t expect this movie to be amazing or top tier like Spiderverse, this movie doesn’t deserves to flop at the box office given there was effort into it so I do wish the studio to remain okay given they’re not the go to household name it once was when it comes to box office competition but hey as long the Flash is flopping, then there is at least some justice against Miller and Warner Bros in general.

Then again, out of all the announced sequels, I think Inside Out 2 has the most potential in showcasing Riley as a teenager and some of the typical teenage angst that could go through her mind and how the emotions deal with it. It also has potential to use elements from the drafts of the first film like the deleted elements. So there’s some potential and worth to an Inside Out sequel than Frozen 3 or Toy Story 5.

Honestly it better to support original animated films better than a Superhero film with a maximum charged criminal

To say it has my support, I'm possible one of the few people who is actually very excited to see this film. Granted I can tell it's not the greatest from Pixar, But I always enjoy their movies and if anything I know I'll still have a good time, in fact all is to say I'm also a sucker for romance films, so yeah I'm defiantly going to enjoy this!

Guess what, Adam Sandler has returned to the animation industry with his new movie called “Leo”. If you ask me, I don’t much expectations on this one, so my guess is I would either give it a 4/10, a 5/10, or a 6/10. Or maybe even a 7/1”

I will note for a story with immigration as a key theme I really don't think it all comes together.

I went and saw this in the theater today. I thought it was really good in my opinion. I’m just more happy that I’m doing my part to support Pixar‘s original works.
