We are seeing the biggest cinematic event since the pandemic started with the entire Barbenheimer craze (and yes, I did go see both last week), and even my week has been as explosive as both those movies. With the next new movies coming right around the corner, now I have to juggle different projects together to ensure that I'll be able to have them ready soon. My summer has so far been quite a wild one, but here's what you need to know with what I did for my work this week.

- Released Part 6 of Animation Lookback: The Muppets: Been such a while that I've made this part, but I'm glad to see that it's finally out for people to check out, especially when this is an interesting chapter where we look into how The Muppets ultimately became a Disney IP, and how the start of it was a bit rocky like with The Muppets Wizard of Oz. But I will say that it was fun to revisit some that I directly recall from my memory like seeing the viral Muppet videos during the late-2000s and was the jumpstart to their quick renaissance the following decade. At this point, however, some have speculated in terms of what is left in the series, especially when we're getting closer to the present day with our story. Some say that I only got one part left and the Honorable Mention. I'll say now that I don't know the real answer to that. Keep in mind that there was still so much that happened during the 2010s with the Muppets that I can dedicate a whole part just for that. And even if we're only a few years in the 2020s, there's still The Muppets Haunted Mansion and Muppets Mayhem to cover. Until I know for sure when I do Part 7, there's a 50/50 chance that there is one or two parts left, without counting the Honorable Mention. However, it shouldn't be too long before I know the answer.

- Created my review of Miraculous: Ladybug and Cat Noir, The Movie: Making this review worked out much better than I expected. While it technically is released on Netflix on the 28th, I was surprised to find that Miraculous had a few screenings earlier during the week in my area. Since I didn't want to clutter my schedule too much, I might as well spread it out and start it a little earlier than planned. I am very thankful that I got that extra time, since the movie is a musical and I have to put in that extra work to also mention the songs. I'll be honest, I've never seen an entire episode of Miraculous before, so I'm gonna be making it clear that this will be from the perspective of a newcomer. However, since this is technically the prequel to the show, we'll see how this can work out as an introduction for beginners.

- Written and Filmed the next History Video: Meanwhile, outside of reviewing, I was able to get this project to the next phase. Not only was I able to finish off the first draft, but I also made a full revision, got a partner to help with some fact checking and they confirmed that it was all good, and made another full revision one more time before jumping into the filming. It's been a while since I've had a big filming session like that, especially when I'm working with a script with around 5400 words (in context, the Miraculous review will be a big one and the script for that is around 2800 words). It was a big process, but I'm really glad to have it ready so that I can get started on the editing and put it all together. I can already tell that this will be a wild history video. The story is on a similar crazy level as the Pinocchio premiere, but for different reasons.

And that's been my week, at least in terms of making videos. I know I still have more things to go and prepare like the review of TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, but I want to make sure I can have as much done as I can because next week, I'm going to have surgery and there may be days where I'll have it completely off just to heal. Wish me luck on that. So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!
