This was a completely different week where I have to do something completely different for my work: Gaming. On top of no new videos for this week to prep up for what's to come for the rest of the year, I was grinding through a popular game in order to get that review prepared for later this month. I was also preparing myself for the upcoming new animated features that are going to come, and thankfully, it's starting off very well where I found some early screenings so that I can put them out on their official release (or on the Friday of their release). It's a different kind of busy, but it was one where I put myself back on track compared to last week. So here's what I've done in detail.

- Working on a Video Game Review: This was requested to me a while back and I think it's time that I finally get started on doing my first video game review in a long time. I was planning on doing this earlier, but I didn't manage to get the game itself and resorted to buying it on eBay. That's why last week felt a bit disorienting because I was figuring out what could I do with my time while I wait for it in the mail. Thankfully, it came earlier than planned, so this was the time started getting to work on playing it and taking notes on my experience. I'll say now that, with so much that will be going on both November and December, this may turn out to be a vlog-style review to keep it easy on myself in terms of making the video, but like with the other vlog-style reviews, I'll still do the best I can to make ti as informative and entertaining as I can. It will be worthwhile. I did manage to finish the game itself (or at least the main story of it), so now it's just doing the review and make sure I get that set for the next few weeks. I think this will turn out to be a fun one to watch!

- Currently working on my review of Trolls Band Together: This comes with good news and bad news. The good news is that Universal is doing the same thing as Puss in Boots: The Last Wish last year and released a small screening of the movie in selected theaters today before its official release on the 17th, and I was able to catch it! The bad news is that...it's Trolls. And I'm not a big fan of the Trolls movies so far. I don't hate them, but I do consider them among DreamWorks' weaker pictures, and based on what I've seen in the trailers, this may not be that different. Then again, the chances of me liking it, while low, are not 0, so you never know if this could surprise me. However, as it started early, what I am bracing myself for is for the wave of movies I have to review, even preparing the intros to some of the upcoming features that will arrive this month. I'll need to get through the Trolls first, but this is just the beginning.

And that's been my week of games and reviews. If you're a bit bummed with not having any new videos this week, don't worry. I can guarantee that there's a lot more coming. So much so that there will be times where you will get 2 videos in one week! I just have to make sure I can get everything done and ready before the holidays arrive. So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!

What a coincidence that you are seeing the early screening of Trolls 3 like I am. I for one don’t hate it either but I do find the Trolls films to be mediocre despite having it moments. Can’t wait to see your thoughts on the third film later on!

Great to hear now that the rest of the animated films of the year are finally rolling out, you’ll manage to get a lot more regular AniMat’s Reviews done than just your Classic Reviews or any reviews requested through Patreon. Also great to hear you’re working on a video game review. I hope that goes well.

Even though I have never seen any of the trolls movies, I wouldn’t consider them as my favorites.
