The next morning, Kurapika woke up in his short pink satin pajamas. He sat on the edge of the bed for a long time, staring into space. After an entire day of being tied up and humiliated, something inside him had started to shift. He felt exhausted — both physically and mentally. Constant resistance was beginning to feel pointless.

Elena entered the room, looking as elegant as ever.

— Good morning, my little princess. How are you feeling today?

Kurapika lowered his gaze slightly, without the same intense anger as before.

— …Tired, he murmured quietly.

Elena smiled, pleasantly surprised by this change in attitude. She approached and gently stroked his hair.

— You’re finally starting to understand that fighting is useless. That’s good.

She helped him stand up and presented him with a new, much girlier outfit: a short, light pink pastel dress with frills, a round collar, and a waist belt that accentuated his figure. This time, Kurapika didn’t protest. He let her dress him in silence, his face slightly flushed.

Finally, she clipped a cute pink barrette decorated with a small bow and pearls on the side of his head, gently framing his face.

Kurapika stared at his reflection without saying a word. His long blonde hair, the adorable barrette, the pink dress… He truly looked like a girl. A very pretty girl.

— …I… I look like a girl, he whispered in a low, almost resigned voice.

Elena placed her hands on his shoulders and smiled at him through the mirror.

— Because you’re becoming one. And you look beautiful like this. Tell me what you think.

Kurapika stayed silent for a moment before answering softly, without any energy left to rebel:

— …It’s… humiliating. But I don’t have the strength to fight today.

Elena was delighted by his response. She ran her fingers through his long extended hair.

— This is an excellent start. Today, we’ll continue with voice and walking training. I want you to walk, talk, and behave like the pretty girl you’re becoming.

Kurapika stood up slowly. His pink dress swirled lightly around his thighs. With his long hair swaying behind him
