DAR 2 Now has it's first Beta release version 0.92 (Patreon)

Version 0.92 is the first "beta" version. The Alpha phase involved a year of making new image which I finished in December.

You can download it at https://arianeb.itch.io/date-ariane-2/patreon-access If you get errors and you've downloaded earlier versions, try without the patreon-access part. If you still can't get it send me a private message through the Patreon chat and I'll send you a one time link that will work.

The Beta phase is adding new features and making sure all the paths work.

There have been many rule changes since 1.5 was released. In 1.5 the way to open up the game was just to make sure you demonstrate all the personality types before dinner.  

This one has "Impression points" that you get for every puzzle or random chance in the game, you need at least 2 to unlock any nudity or intimate scenes. There is also a system of 6 qualities that are unlocked via personality demonstration, and some activities will require multiple of the same quality.

To know if all this works or not I had to write new paths to all the activities. Here's the new paths page. More info in tomorrow's post

I also made changes to sound and music files including a new intro song, and background music for each kind of dinner

The next step in the process is to erase all my saves and settings, and see if I can reach all the achievements from a fresh new start, which will almost certainly reveal new bugs to fix.

Which is why I'm still calling it beta.

If you downloaded it before 3:40 EST it has an immediate bug I used for testing and thought I erased it. Corrected version is now up.
