Apology regarding the paywalled update (Patreon)

Since we didn't even understand Patreon's system very well, we only clarified this behind a paywalled post,

so we'd like to address this matter more clearly and publicly right now. We said a few weeks ago that the next update would be free as well despite our initial decision to paywall it, but we then went back on our words,

and we're truly sorry about that. Our financial situation and livelihood were tighter than we thought at the time, and we were left with little choice if we wanted to be able to develop the game properly. We will release this update for free once the next one is complete (a month from now), so we hope you could bear with us until then.

Don't worry, we understand your situation perfectly! Since the current update can be obtained for any amount, it is not that scary!

Haile

200 percent support your decision!having the most recent update paywalled is perfectly acceptable and having any update at all free is unheard of and amazing! Please continue we will support you and spread the news!

Zoey Kazuya

I support your decisions! You have good will. We all must look after ourselves.

haoLink

First of all. Your decision is completely fine. You have to look after yourself and manage a daily life. Many of us have jobs but you work on this game and possibly do this even full time (I don't know and it honestly shouldn't concern me as this would be your private life and it doesn't concern me). My utmost respect to your dedication. Your life comes first so it's fair to ask for support if you're in financial troubles. Thank you for the game, the recent update was amazing. And like I said earlier, thanks to communicating this openly (and also to Alicemagic for the translation work).

Vanessa

What you are doing is absolutely amazing and I'm sure that a large majority of your supporters and fans are okay with this. I for one, am absolutely excited to see this project continue and for you all to bring more stories and situations like this in the future. Please live well and be healthy. And thank you again!

BasicIncomePlz

Not even mad. This is the first size fetish game ever with a decent character development. Take what you want, the least I want is seeing the project dead.

Osedax

You deserve to be compensated for your work. You're providing a great service. Don't apologize :)

MicWhyss

no problem at all, I will keep supporting this awesome work

Mark

Admittedly I was intending to become a patron after the next public (was to be this one) release. Can you at least perhaps make an update to the pinned/main post to cue us in with what is new/or some sort of intended development roadmap? That way people will feel even more confident to do so than we already do.

Anonymous

no apology needed. i haven't become a patron yet, but i will as soon as valve let's me order my Valve Index (Headset + Controllers bundle, i already have the basestations from my Vive for tracking). i'm currently on the September wave, but people from that wave say that valve already let's them order now, or their reservation has been moved to a month or two earlier, seems like valve is speeding up with the production of the headset. sp to make sure i have the money for it, i currently have no subscriptions and such running, but will sub back to all of them (and your patreon) once valve has let me order and the payment has come through. long story short, waiting on Index, after me buying it will become a patron on here and test out the most recent paid build (at that time) on the Valve Index with it's controllers (probably gonna play through the whole thing again, start to finish, to make sure everything still works fine on Index) (expecting the controllers to be seen as Vive Wands, that happens when games don't have support for the new controllers for backwards compatibility.) can't say it enough, but i'm seeing amazing work from you guys, best Giantess game in VR i have seen sofar (even outside of VR), hoping to maybe see controller tracking for VR in the future to (for example) climb myself instead of having to look around and let my hands clip onto the object i'm supposed to climb. maybe a cool idea for the Index controllers, when just climbing make the player grip onto the controller to hold on and maybe slide a bit down when applying almost no force, and when needing to hold on really hard (like the time she stands up with you in her hand) make the player grip the controller pretty hard so they don't slide away or lose the grip completely and fall. (just an idea, you don't have to do anything with it, cause i think it's hard to implement it like that (could be wrong on that) just something that came up on my side to improve immersion by quite a bit in VR.) this could be hard to do cause the game is made as a seated experience (causing the floor to tilt for example) but it could be cool if the game would let you stand around and use a small bit of roomscale to walk around with the floor leveled with your real floor. not all scenes will translate over well, but it could be nice to do it for the scenes it can be done in, with the choice of the player ofcourse. (could probably already been done, but i have refrained from doing it cause it recommended me to sit, if i'm not mistaken.) Could be cool to have you stand for the Climbing though, if the climbing with VR controllers gets implemented (not forcing, just saying it would be real cool,k would improve immersion for me and maybe make me completely forget i'm wearing a VR headset and am in fact in my room room being normal sized, probably make my hands real sweaty like when i play Climbey cause i'm scared of falling down. very long message, i know, just some idea's that kept floating around in my mind lately that i wanted to share. (again, not forcing, do what you guys want with the game, cause it's already insanely great.) Greetings from (self proclaimed) friendly tiny DjBasA.

Honestly, I am surprised you guys released what you did for free... I too was intending to wait until the next update to pledge my support(not even having a patreon account...) I've watched the giantess game scene for a long time, and would say with confidence that this project is ground breaking for the size change community world wide. some if not most here can probably relate to the fire that drives the development of this game. I am happy to throw a small amount of kindling in!

Deenfal

Totally understandable guys.

@皿@

We totally understand that and will support you. No rush and take your time~ <3

You did an amazing work, you deserve it!

Thank you. We still feel bad about it since we went back on our original promise though...

MJ & Aoigai
>>24267624

Thank you! We only wish we'd have noticed sooner before making an empty promise though...

MJ & Aoigai
>>24272734

You are correct, we are taking a break from our normal occupations to work on this game full time for the time being. It's our own decision and we have to stick with it for better or for worse, but we're glad to have people supporting us through this challenge. And thanks to Alicemagic from us as well! [yw <3]

MJ & Aoigai
>>24274534

Thank you very much. We do feel bad about our poor decisions though and we'll try to reflect on them in the future. I'm not very confident in my health but I'll try to power through it with the right medicine...

You're the kind of content creator creating the content that I wish to encourage! I've got my own aspirations, but dang this is such a great idea and lucky me I've already got a vive, fufu. Thank you for doing what you do!

MJ & Aoigai
>>24292568

Yes, we might have to release a roadmap in the future. That said, while we do have a work schedule, there are a lot of times where we go off-schedule due to unforeseen programming difficulties so it'd be hard to make a 100% accurate roadmap. Not to mention that there are some creative differences between the two of us (for instance, MJ wants to finish the shrunken city event by December, but Aoigai has a lot of things he wants to do for that event so he thinks it's impossible to finish that early). Also, we're already planning an additional, extra-cruel shrinking route, and if we were to add a gentle route on top of that as per people's requests that might throw our schedule off even further so it'd be hard to predict anything that far ahead even with a roadmap.

>>24293286

Thank you for the lengthy, indepth comment! Feel free to support us whenever you want, even if only after you get your Index. We'd like to have the climbing portions support various hand controllers and such, but to be honest that'd require a lot of additional funds to playtest since there are only the 2 of us and we only have access to so many VR kits. Furthermore, MJ has only been programming for 3 years so there are a lot of things that are difficult to address as a 'beginner'. We might hire a Unity programmer if we get enough patrons though~

MJ & Aoigai
>>24301350

Thank you! We initially intended to only publicly release the game once it's fully finished, but besides our poor financial condition, it was hard for us to keep working without the motivation from people's comments and impressions, and if nobody saw the game we wouldn't even know if it was any good or not. Now we're a bit more confident thanks to this Patreon account and everyone following it. Thank you for your support...!

Thank you! We definitely sort of rushed this update so we might take it a bit easier next time.

Also, let me know if you need to translate this game into Chinese, I can totally do it! (Free because of love~)

Alex Martin

I'll definitely be supporting this project but I'd like to know what's changed in Version .52?

Yosuna
>>24345623

they added more to the story. when you get the option for what to do with at least 10 new scenes, and one of the preview scenes from the last version is finished and you can progress to it. as well as different decisions that split the story a bit.

Nico kowald

The game is fantastic. I hope there comes a vore scene

MJ & Aoigai
>>24317021

We're sorry, but just the other day somebody already offered to translate the game to Chinese... thanks for the offer though! Since neither of us knows Chinese we'd still be glad if you could point out any potential errors in his translation when it's out.

MJ & Aoigai
>>24351883

Thank you! We are considering a vore scene since we've received a lot of requests for it, though we can't say if we can live up to people's exact expectations.

To be honest this game feels like it deserves $10 with the amount of work you guys put into it, I have a question is the bare foot scene allow to be shown or not because I know you stated the next update isn't allowed to be shown because I'm just checking because one of my fans wanted me to show it~

HiEv

FYI - Since this is a transformation (TF) game, you might want to consider posting it to the TFGamesSite ( https://www.tfgamessite.com/ ) so more people who are interested in this kind of content can see your work. (Note: You'll need to make 5 posts before you can add your game to the IGDB there (don't spam, please) and please read the rules before submitting. Feel free to make a thread about your game though to help you get to the 5 post minimum.) Good luck with your game! :-)

Thank you for the suggestion, but we can't speak English so we wouldn't be able to communicate properly [these replies are hand-translated by Alicemagic]. Maybe if we learn to speak English better...

>>24351883

I agree with Terrance that whatever you put in will be great. However, I would like to make a suggestion that it isn't something quick and too the point... but rather it is something drawn out, an is an integral part, and you have to fight to survive, and even after being swallowed, that you'd have to continue to fight to escape (but of course, make it optional for those that aren't into vore and is only into giantess stuff...)

I really do love this game and i'm not trying to be rude , but isn't a month a bit long for the free version? I adore this game and would love to play this earlier.

We've learned by this point that it's not a good idea to go back and forth on our promises on the slightest notice, so we'd appreciate it if you would wait it out. Everyone's support is what allows us to just barely keep at it and live on normally, so even though it may be hard to wait, please understand where we're coming from.
