I don't have one favourite thing about Jin, the list is probably endless but i love how caring he is especially during their debut, taking on such a mature role looking after jkay and the members, I love his laugh which is infectious and just hearing it brightens my day. I love his vocals that are so warming, so emotional, so heart evoking, some of my favourite songs of Jin is awake, background (I can touch the sky and i can never fly) actually broke my heart, that he feels no jealously but that he is in the background despite how hard he tries (lit getting the least screentime and vocals in earlier albums/MVs and i will go as to say he was mistreated by the company who couldn't fund into his singing as much. But he has come so far and his high notes are absolutely heavenly. I admire his sarcasm and humour especially his dad jokes that i can never fully understand but are still funny nonetheless. His hard work he put into his dancing which paid off that you can clearly see from no more dream to ON, idol etc. The confidence he built through solos, his live singing being genuinely insane, shout out Crystal Snow, Come back home, dioynsus, epiphany etc and finally what i love most about him is his selflessness and his love for army in how he encourages to self love despite finding it hard himself sometimes. To me Jin, though i do not know him personally, he is strong minded, loving to the members who he treats as family (as they all do), talented and handsome ofc

i lowkey feel like the geks would love Jin's Echo album it's so catered to their tastes, as i'm sure Cannon said he used to like country, Jin has a song called Rope it, Background i believe would be Carter's fav, Mckay and Jack would possibly be more into the more rock songs like loser, to me today, and especially from Happy album, running wild, another level, falling and heart on the window. Jin for me could lowkey convince the members to do a more rock album lol but also the ballads on these albums like Background and i will come to you make his vocals shine so much. My favorite thing about Jin? When I tell you I could write a novel like i'm not joking I could genuinely wrote half a million or more words on this man unprovoked because I love him so sincerely, I was lucky enough to go to his concerts and even get a hand touch among many other army and jin biases it was a highlight of my year in 2025 and honestly still a huge highlight. He's so BEAUTIFUL in real life like he actually looks like a marble statue that can smile and laugh and he's just so sincere and sweet and kind and has a pure heart like he's one of the few men i would actually trust with my entire heart like he's a pure child at heart but also the most sexy and charming when he wants to be, just an all around beautiful and kind person with the voice of a siren and the aura of an angel ugh i love him

Jin is my bias. I feel most reactors sleep on his talent and how funny he really is. Kian’s Bizarre B&B (Netflix) shows just how truly versatile he is. Jin is genuinely amazing person. Like all of them are wonderful people. But from what I have heard about Jin from people who worked with him and stuff, I get amazed by his mature personality all the time. He is all in for the group, he sacrificed a lot to be in the group and he is still putting his all to the group. The fact that my man didn't sing or dance before BTS and now he is an ace singer and really good dancer deserves its applause. He is super funny and I love he doesn't take himself seriously. I love his songs Abyss, Epiphahy, Background and Heart on the window.

Finally, a reaction to Jin's solo. He is my bias. I love his optimistic and goofy personality, his outlook on life, and his philosophy of living in the moment and being happy but responsible. I admire his dedication to his craft; he didn't know how to dance or sing initially but put in the effort to learn, and the growth he has shown is incredible. For me, his best album is "ECHO" released right before the BTS members began their military service as it features a diverse range of songs that showcase his vocal and artistic evolution. I also feel that his solo concert really helped boost his confidence on stage. I love his personality, his dad jokes, and his "window-cleaning" laugh. "Epiphany" is his most iconic song; it’s a track that has saved many people from depression.

I think they do The Rise of Bangtan every week, so I don't think they're going to remove it. I just wanted them to add this video to the poll along with TROB because while watching TROB, they had a lot of questions about why the members went through such a hard time. And I think this video would answer those questions and make things much clearer for them.

BTS songs always sound better live than in the studio and they’re amazing in the studio, too. It’s the same with Jin; his live vocals are on another level. They could do a second round featuring more songs from each member's solo era, or they could react to an album from each of them. If I’m not mistaken, they’re mini-albums with six or seven tracks. There’s so much content from the guys to react to. I’d also love for them to react to the two live performances where all seven BTS members sang one being the group version of "Chicken Noodle Soup" and the other the version of "Daechwita" from the BTS 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO.

To answer your question about Epiphany. It is his solo song but it's under the group's name. There are several like that! To name a few, Jimin has serendipity, Hobi has MAMA, Namjoon has Trivia: Love, JK has Euphoria, V has Stigma, Yoongi has Seesaw etc.. etc.. And the live performance you just saw was during a group tour but they had solo performances as well as group ones.

I mean I get that you want them to see all of his best music but Super Tuna is a part of who Jin is as a person and they had to watch it at some point so why not now? I think they got a pretty good idea of Jin's range in terms of music. Obviously his new solo album has way more but they can't do everything at once. Most people new to BTS hear about Super Tuna and check it out right away because it sounds funny. There are still many solos to see and Jin has a LOT of great songs so we'll get there eventually. I get the frustration but I also don't think our suggestions should dictate everything. It's more fun to see it this way because they're not crossing off a checklist made by fans but rather exploring what interests them.

Carter, it's funny you mentioned that they know how to make catchy title songs but choose to do more artistic ones as b-sides because they touch on that in the next Rise of Bangtan episode. :) That was a good mix of songs to start with. Loved it! Honestly when I first got into BTS, Jin was definitely my most overlooked member. And it's crazy to think I couldn't tell his voice apart from JKs at times. His voice is very recognizable to me now and I love him so much more both as a person and performer/singer. Epiphany is amazing. It's probably top 3 if not number 1 in my favorite Jin songs list. Yes BTS songs performed live have a whole different level from just studio versions. Some of my favorite songs became my favorite because of the live performances. Some lives are just WAY better than the studio. That's why we often recommend you guys watch the live performances even if its your first time hearing the song.

It's not about them seeing his "best music" but rather music that is actually true to his musical identity. There's a reason why he deleted super tuna from Spotify even though it had more than 100M streams. Because even he doesn't want that song to represent his discography. Jin is my bias and i honestly love everything about him. I hope at some point you can react to a concert from his solo tour: RUN SEOKJIN EP TOUR. A lot of ARMYS agreed that this tour was truly a healing experience. This 17th and 18th (July) will be a year since i went to both concert dates in Anaheim. I'd give anything to go back, i miss him so much.

Jin isnt UNDERATED underated.Hes more of a ballad person so isnt mainstream like JK or jimin who do pop better,and thats ok.Jin's style is entirely unique and i love that. In the fandom,no ones underrated. But ofc in western markets ,JK ,Jm and V shines more due to their appeal and now JHope has put himself out there too. and it doesnt make a diff in the fandom itself.

I'm not irritated. Just a bit disappointed. And super tuna is not part of his discography because he literally deleted it from Spotify. Do I think it's a bad song? Absolutely not. It's a fun song. But do I think that should be someone's first impression of Jin's music? Absolutely not again. Like there's a reason he deleted a song with 100M streams. Also, to answer your question, Jin is my bias purely because of his personality. His good looks, his talent, his music, his voice and his humour are just the cherry on top. On the surface he seems silly, goofy and very unserious but in my opinion he's the most mature and empathetic person in BTS. If I made a list of my 10 favourite things BTS have ever said, 8 of them would be from Jin. He's the kind of person I aspire to be and at the same time, life would be so much better if I had someone like him in my life. The fact that he had never sung or danced before joining BTS yet he still stands his own when it comes to singing or dancing in the group is a testament to his sheer hard work and passion. And there's no one who loves army and BTS more than Jin. He delayed his military service and had to enlist during a difficult time just because the members wanted to do one last concert for army. The members made the entire arirang album without him and he had to join the la session right after ending his solo tour getting no rest at all yet he didn't complain about it at all. He fought with bighit to be able to hug 1000 armys and performed for them just one day after his discharge from military and has been working non stop ever since. He flew for around 70 hours(back and forth) to Argentina just to give a 5 minute final goodbye performance to armys before enlisting. There is a whole compilation of him reminding the members to thank armys during their award speeches. I could actually write a whole book talking about why I love him(which I can do for all the members). Ps: Mckay looked sleepy af the entire video🤣🤣 All of them were sharing their thoughts on the songs, lyrics, mvs and he just goes "I like to see jin running".

Guys, I don't know where you're located, but these are the BTS concerts scheduled in the USA for August and September: August 1st and 2nd in East Rutherford, 5th and 6th in Foxborough, 10th and 11th in Baltimore, 15th and 17th in Arlington, and in Los Angeles there are 4 scheduled for September 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th. I've seen that Ticketmaster releases tickets days before the concert; I saw that for the concerts that have already taken place.

I still remeber when I heard Epiphany for the first time. It was a hard time in my life where I struggled to see myself in a 'nice' way. Love yourself was a concept that I struggled to understand and was hearing it for the first time through this song (as someone coming from a non-english speaking country) But listening to this song and reading the lyrics really did something to my heart. It made me who I am now. Someone who is not ashamed of who I am or how I look. So I will always be thankful to Jin for putting this song out and lighting that small fire of love in me.

I'm sorry but I feel like you don't know Jin at all if you think he'd be embarrassed of people watching Super Tuna. They deleted the old version from Spotify to replace it with the new extended version he released after the military. He even re-made the MV. And he performed it multiple times during his solo tour. He might have been surprised by the popularity of the song originally but he fully embraces it as his song now and he loves being silly so I would guarantee that he doesn't mind people being introduced to him through that song. Also I think Spine Breaker is an amazing introduction to BTS to someone unaware of them. I'd choose Spine Breeaker over Dynamite any day! The Astronaut was made and released right before Jin left for the military. In the MV, Jin is an alien who crashed on Earth and is just biding time before his ship is fixed. During that time he meets the little girl (represents ARMY) and she shows him all the little joys Earth has to offer. In the TV announcement, Jin sees that his ship has been "fixed" (the big beam of light) and its going to leave. But when he goes to the ship he realizes he found a home on earth with the little girl (again ARMY) so he lets the ship leave without him. Basically the MV is about how Jin will always stay with ARMY regardless of wherever he goes which was super comforting considering their enlistment was such a daunting thing at the time and many people (not ARMY) thought they wouldn't return.

The Geks say they don't know what to expect at the start of every solo they do lol so that doesn't mean anything. You're talking like they're some music critics that need to evaluate his musical ability from one go and form this concrete opinion. BTS members have reached this level of popularity because of who they are as people and their fun and amazing personalities and quirks, not because theyre the best musicians in the world. That's why I think Super Tuna is fine to listen to as an introduction to Jin as a member. Even the guide of the members by Taylor that they watched mentions ST in the intro for Jin because it is part of what makes him interesting. And reactions are supposed to be fun not some super serious evaluation of how good each solo song is musically. For anyone reacting to Jin’s “The Astronaut,” this is the context behind the MV. Jin is portrayed as an astronaut who crash-lands on Earth after his spaceship breaks down. While he is lost, he meets a little girl who makes him feel at home and gives him a place where he belongs. When his spaceship is repaired, it calls him back and he runs toward it because he has to return home. But just before getting on the ship, he changes his mind, turns around, and runs back to the house where he found comfort and family. Before leaving, Jin teaches the girl how to ride a bicycle by herself. That bicycle represents ARMY learning to keep going and stand on their own while he is away. At the end, when Jin returns, the sound of the bicycle is heard. It suggests that the girl was waiting for him, just as ARMY waited for Jin during his military service. The whole story is a metaphor for Jin’s real-life enlistment: he had to leave, but ARMY became the place where he felt at home, and “The Astronaut” is his promise that he would come back to Earth — back to ARMY.

Jin is the astronaut because he crash landed into this world of music by accident/chance, but he found a home and found love and a family here, with ARMY and his brothers, and now wants to stay forever. The little girl represents ARMY because this was 9 years after their debut, so ARMY was about 9 years old as a fandom. The room is full of references to his brothers. On his neck is written in the Braille for ARMY. Jin originally released Super Tuna in 2021 as an inside joke/present for ARMY on his birthday, just a silly little song about fishing. ARMY's made it go viral and chart and he was so embarrassed and kept asking us to stop. He eventually embraced it as part of his legacy. When Jin got out of the military in 2024, he did a showcase and special hugging event with ARMYs the day after his discharge, because he missed us so much. He hugged every single person in that audience. They paraded across the stage as he wore a "Free Hugs" sign.
