I think there’s a bit of context that might help explain why this concert feels different. First of all, the Busan concert was a very unique event. It wasn’t just a regular concert for the audience in the stadium it was filmed for a worldwide livestream on Weverse and even broadcast in movie theaters. Because of that, the members had to pay much more attention to the cameras than they normally would. That’s why you’ll notice them looking into the camera so often. During their usual concerts, they’re generally much freer to interact naturally with the crowd. Also, the first part of the concert is intentionally more serious and builds up gradually. It starts with a mix of rap-heavy songs and softer performances before the energy really explodes later on. I think you’ll probably have a different impression once you watch Part 2, because that’s when the concert becomes much more energetic. Another thing to keep in mind is that BTS performs live while doing intense choreography almost nonstop. They don’t rely on lip-syncing, so they’re constantly balancing their vocals, stamina, and choreography. They simply can’t go all out from the very first song, or they wouldn’t be able to maintain that level of performance for the entire show. If they seem a little more focused or reserved at the beginning, it’s more about pacing themselves than lacking energy or enthusiasm.

I also wanted to add that you’re watching the concert through a video, and while it’s already impressive, nothing compares to experiencing BTS live in person. The sound, the bass, the members’ vocals, the atmosphere… everything is amplified. A recording just can’t fully capture what it feels like to be there. I was lucky enough to attend both shows at Stade de France in Paris last week, and to this day it’s still the best concert atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. The entire stadium was on its feet from beginning to end. Everyone was singing, dancing, screaming, and having the time of their lives. It honestly felt like one massive karaoke with 93k people each day. I’ve never experienced anything like it.🤩

Even BTS themselves have said that European crowds are really something special. The energy was unforgettable.🫶 I also wanted to mention Jin. His live vocals are honestly incredible. All seven members gave me chills, but Jin’s voice is truly something special in person. I feel like he’s often underrated, so I’m really happy that this concert helped you see just how amazing he is. And again, you’re only experiencing this through a video. Hearing him live in a stadium is on a completely different level.

For comparison, I’ve also seen The Weeknd live, and I’m a huge fan of him too. But in terms of crowd energy and audience participation, I’ve personally never experienced anything like an ARMY crowd. In Europe it was absolutely next level.🤩 Of course, every country has a different concert culture. Korean audiences are often more reserved during performances, while European crowds tend to be much louder and more expressive. During the European tour, it genuinely felt like one huge celebration from the first song to the last. Like a big festival or night club 🤣

I genuinely hope that one day you’ll get the chance to experience a BTS concert in person. As much as videos can capture the performance, they can never fully capture what it actually feels like to be there. It’s one of those things you have to experience for yourself to truly understand. You’ll understand who BTS really are, who ARMYs are, and the unique connection they have with each other. I’ve been to a lot of concerts, and I’ve honestly never experienced anything like it. A little story to give you an idea: after the concert at Stade de France in Paris, almost nobody wanted to leave. Thousands of ARMYs stayed outside the stadium, and someone started playing BTS songs through huge speakers. Instead of going home, everyone stayed to sing, dance, laugh, and celebrate together. It literally felt like we were getting a second concert after the concert had already ended.😍 I’ve never seen anything like that before. It wasn’t organized by BTS or the venue it happened naturally because nobody wanted the night to end. That memory is still one of my favorites, and I think it says a lot about the bond between BTS and ARMY.

Regarding album reacts..that is like..the longest you would deal with. Most of their standard drops are 12 or 13 songs. In the future, Armys, lets make sure they listen to og albums, not the combined versions. We can always have them supplement a single song here and there that appear on delux versions.

Having personal preferences doesn’t mean we love or respect the other members any less. Btw just for comparison’s sake, this tour is actually a lot more chill and laid back compared to all previous BTS concerts. They used to dance like crazy every song basically lol, so I hope you will eventually get to check those out too once you listen to older songs because those are very fun too 💜

I think BTS is objectively the biggest they’ve ever been and especially have a wider reach with the gp and has gained more fans during arirang era than any other - there’s a bunch of numbers and stats showing that. Even doing the World Cup and the Netflix comeback has made them soo much bigger. Most of the discourse of the album is from older fans that are more used to their previous style or other kpop fans. Arirang is 100% their most successful album in terms of numbers and reach (and in my personal top 3 favs).

to answer why they are very focused on the cameras is because they have a 360 stage, there are three huge screen on all 4 sides. also Jimin and jungkook are both from busan. Jimin tends to follow the vibe of the song, he seems a little more calm during more mellow songs. And I went to Las Vegas d3 and there’s not a boring moment, it felt too short but it probably is different watching it on tv, I’ve seen other reactors also split the concert into two parts ! ALSO during run bts jungkook catches a drone which is how he records himself, tae, jimin and jhope

So it may appear they are performing for the camera but these were on of the few concerts that was broadcasted live for everyone so they were performing for us at home too. Other concerts they are definitely more into the crowd. Also the locations will give you a different vibe because Asian countries are a little more reserved so BTS matches that energy. Latin and American stops really bring the freaks out of them lol. And yes Jin really is eating this era. He’s so confident and giving the main character energy. Arirang is Jin and jhope’s album lol. And Jimin isn’t sad he’s just locked in lol. Jimin completely switches personalities on stage lol. That man has to be told he has to chill a lot performing because he goes too hard dances like his bones are breaking. Unfortunately the camera never shows Jimin going crazy. When he’s not on camera he’s doing some crazy freestyle. But all 7 of the members ateeee like peak bts is always on the stage. I can’t wait for the next part I need it now 😭😭

Just a little context after hearing one of you mention that Jimin looked a little sad. It’s possible there were some real emotions involved too, especially with everything surrounding the Busan concert, although of course we can’t know exactly what he was feeling in that moment. But more generally, something BTS have always been especially good at is fully stepping into the emotion of a song. They don’t just sing and dance through it; their expressions, energy, and body language all change depending on what the song is trying to convey. So when a song is emotional, introspective, or dramatic, they may look serious or even a little sad because they want the audience to really feel the atmosphere of the performance. As you keep watching, you’ll probably notice how naturally they shift from one mood to another. BTS put a lot of thought and effort into creating the full concert experience. Their vocals, choreography, facial expressions, stage production, lighting, styling, and the way the songs are arranged all work together to support the mood and storytelling. They really want ARMY to experience each section rather than simply watch a series of performances, and that attention to detail is a big part of what makes them so captivating on stage. And about them looking into the camera, they’re not only performing for people watching from home. Those shots are also shown on the large screens inside the stadium, which helps fans in the farther seats see their expressions and feel included. BTS are very aware of how to connect with the entire audience, not only the people closest to the stage. You’ll still see plenty of moments where they focus directly on the crowd, but the camera is another way of reaching everyone at once. Their concerts also include a lot of talking and interaction with ARMY between different sections, not only during their final messages. The encore has a slightly different atmosphere because the more structured part of the concert is usually over by then, so the members can relax a little more, joke around, talk freely, and enjoy the moment with the audience. But the whole concert is worth watching from beginning to end, because every section has its own purpose, mood, and special moments.

I don't know why Busan day 2 is a popular day besides it being the birthday, Korean crowd is so chill compared to Europe, Mexico. They are not hype enough haha. Jin's voice sounds so strong cause he uses his chest voice a lot more than other guys. So it sounds punchy, but I think it is hard to sing like that for a long time. That's also why Jin's songs are so rock vibes, he can pull it off well.

To answer your question, From what I can tell, I think they are bigger than they’ve ever been. The ratio of losing fans to gaining fans with each new album is big when it comes to BTS. Most army stay army forever. The loyalty in the fandom is DEEP. They gain way more army than they lose. The ticket sales so far and the numbers the album are doing (with little radio play) are impressive.

BTS are normally very interactive with the crowd (especially outside of Korea I find), but for the live streamed concerts they do focus on the cameras slightly more I’ve noticed

thanks for the reaction so excited for part 2! 💜 the crowd will honestly not seem to hype since it’s in Korea and it’s a cultural etiquette to be respectful of others and focus on listening. So the energy depends on the location I went to one of the Vegas dates and the crowd was extremely loud the boys like matching the energy of the crowd. -People recommended day 2 busan because it’s their 13th birthday -both jimin and jungkook are from busan -they are also interacting more with the camera because it’s one of the few concerts they are live streaming for army’s worldwide, but the camera is also often what you see on the big screens so it works out. Don’t get confused bts are extremely interactive towards army’s 💜 - as for Jimin’s energy seeming off to you that’s simply because he thinks that songs sound and feel different depending on the outfit he’s wearing, he matches that vibe and to some it might feel likes he’s in character a bit too much but that’s just his performance style, he really is carrying the energy along his 6 brothers and none fall short -Another thing is that he has the highest vocal tone in bts , so it might seem like he isn’t trying, but that’s because his voice naturally sits much higher than the others, making those notes sound more effortless. Anyways his energy won’t be as mellowed down for the next part that’s when they all go crazy since it’s more hype songs. You guys can totally rate their fits just don’t get to distracted while doing so, I’d recommend pausing 💜💜💜 I don’t know if I missed anything once again thanks for the reaction!

Also just for the next part of the concert, and one song in particular, something to keep in mind, when you see them get closer to the fans you won’t see them doing a lot of hand touching or them coming super close to the barricade, they said on a live recently that they so badly want to touch everyone’s hands but it is not safe. Jin said it’s even hard for him to look at armys in the eyes during that part because he wants to reach out but can’t. The crowd surges forward and the people at the front of the barricade can get smushed. They’ve gotten a little more relaxed with it as the tour has gone on and they will randomly reach out but it’s not something each of them do every time. If they keep it random and quick it keeps the crowd safer.

Did you guys see that video of Jungkook sobbing at the last Europe concert? He was crying so much and it's because he said he will miss Europe.🥹🥹 The fan interactions they had with the audience was so wholesome and I think it was because the floor section was a standing. So, there were no seats and everyone was standing and they were much closer to the guys and it was super hype. I'm happy Europe got their wholesome moment but the boys even forgot how crazy the audience in America is because it's been so long. Chicago and California, I'm counting on you to show out😭

You guys are still a toe deep into BTS. I feel like once you guys listen to the rest of their albums, then maybe you might think differently compared to ARIRANG. And if ARIRANG is still your favorite, that's also good too. When I listened to ARIRANG for the first time I instantly loved it. I listen to at least one song from ARIRANG everyday. However, if someone were to ask me the best BTS album or my favorite, I would say 'Love Yourself: Tear.' That album literally did something to me back in 2018😭 Close contenders are 'Wings', ' The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever' and 'Dark & Wild'. Watching this live concert again is making me miss it even more. I wouldn’t say I’m overly sensitive when people give their opinions on certain things and I don’t wanna sound parasocial but I can’t avoid the emotional layer that comes with the constant opinion on jimins hair. and I wanna give some insight, jimin was very upset at having to shave his hair off for the military, even while in the military I remember him sharing a post on Weverse about yearning to let his hair grow once he got out and when they came back his hair was still very short and he was self cautious. In my opinion this is the happiest I’ve seen Jimin with himself, you can really tell he loves his long hair and is having fun with all the hairstyles his stylist does on him! I don’t think kpop demon hunter opened any doors for BTS or brought more people into knowing them cuz they were already the biggest band(not just kpop or boy band). if anything when jk watched and talked about kdh while streaming, some watched the show because of him. Kdh probably brought people into finding kpop in general(specifically twice since they sang a song) but nothing SIGNIFICANT for BTS. Based on people’s story when it comes to finding out about bts, it’s mainly when the album dropped or when the concert started and they started seeing fan cams from it.

The way I was in the movie theatres in my country watching this being livestreamed on festa day as well... They were singing Happy Birthday to celebrate their anniversary during one of the breaks and it was MAGICAL having everyone in the theatre hall singing along. About a quarter of us (full house btw) brought our ARMY bombs (the lightsticks) to the theatre too, including me HAHAHAH! And ofc we went ballistic when the surprise songs for that day were revealed (I was literally screaming my lungs out in a THEATRE). Oh yeah we were definitely stuck on the first part on the livestream for a bit as well HAHA! The boys always start ON THE DOT, no opening acts (THEY are the opening act). At the time of the concert, there were a lot of issues with the venue operator and city's cooperation with HYBE, which resulted in a massive delay for the concert on Day 1. Day 2 was a lot better, but it still took a bit for them to start, so we were really sitting in the theatres waiting for a BIT. Nothing too bad tho!

I think a lot of ARMY already explained the significance of this particular concert so I am here to share some NOT-SO-FUN FACTS that happened on the day. I took a day off from work (because June 13 yes 💜 FESTA yes) and watched this from home and though I knew SO MANY ARMY would try to get to Busan for this historic day (13 YEARS on the 13 of June '26 (13x2)) .. I think Busan WAS NOT READY. The show started with a massive delay because the boys were trying to wait for all ARMY to get into (they were chatting with us in the weverse chat at some point) the stadium, but even then there was only so much they could wait, so they eventually had to start (us from home were also chatting with people outside, through twitter, wondering what was going on, why there were so many empty spots and ... it was a pandemonium outside 🥹 people trying to get in with no tickets, people in for the merch taking space on the queue for concert goers ... IT WAS A MESS ... which that stadium hopefully learned from). So eventually they had to start even though people were still trying to get in. Day 2 still had delays, but they handled it better. End of NOT-SO-FUN fact. Hey! If you gotta be army-ARMY you gotta know all the lore. Borahae guys 💜

It’s funny that when you mentioned seeing them with instruments, I immediately thought of SUGA’s tour, where he played guitar and piano, even though he’s one of the rappers. Believe me, you’ve only scratched the surface 😂 You can’t make any assumptions yet! Regarding the K-pop Demon Hunters conversation, this is just my opinion as someone who has been listening to K-pop for quite a long time and who really enjoys the movie. On one hand, a lot of people started listening to K-pop because of it, but on the other hand, for many people it was their first introduction to K-pop, which can be a little misleading and create preconceived ideas and stereotypes. The movie is very much associated with children, and for many adults, K-pop is something for kids. So, in a way, it may have opened doors to certain audiences while closing them for others. As for BTS, I don’t think the movie had that much of an impact on their popularity. They were already huge before that. Once you learn more about their history, you’ll understand what I mean. Many singers and people in the industry consider BTS to be the main group that opened the doors for K-pop globally. And over the last few years, the K-wave has grown massively. K-dramas have become more popular, K-beauty is increasingly well-known, many different factors have come together and contributed to the growing interest in and discovery of all the different sides of the K-wave. But in my opinion, BTS were one of the biggest driving forces behind it. And the fact that they’re even bigger now is partly because they were already huge, they have one of the most loyal fanbases ever, and then they released incredibly successful solo projects, which brought in even more fans, on top of all the anticipation surrounding their comeback. And the album is incredible. So, while they may have lost some fans who don’t connect with this particular era, they’ve also gained a huge number of new fans.

They’ve BEEN the biggest group so Kpop demon hunters have nothing to do with Bts’ fame growing with their comeback. Bts’ comeback is big because it’s BTS’ comeback. They’ve been to the UN 3 times to give speech, they won multiple BBMAs and AMAs and were nominated to the Grammy’s multiple times, they were invited to the White House to give a speech, their songs went number 1 multiple times in a row replacing themselves, JK already performed at the FIFA world cup in 2022 and was supposed to perform at the superbowl but couldn’t due to military SOOO all that to say although they are the biggest they’ve been they’ve BEEN big. Not ignorant. Those are the facts. BTS' comeback is massive because it's BTS. They were already global icons long before KDH. Even if KDH had never existed, BTS would still have had a comeback this huge. They would have sold just as many albums, and their songs would still have been streamed just as much, because people had already been waiting for the world's biggest group for a long time. That's why KDH had no impact on or contribution to BTS at all. Maybe KDH will be forgotten in a few years, but BTS' music, achievements, and the legacy they built by paving the way for K-pop won't be forgotten. The creator of the movie, the voice actors, and the singers behind the soundtrack have all said multiple times that BTS and their success were the inspiration for KDH. One of those singers even said in a recent Netflix interview, "If BTS hadn't paved the way, there would be no KPop Demon Hunters." So BTS was making history long before KDH was even a concept.

I do think you guys are just more exposed to kpop and BTS now. That's why it seems like it's suddenly so big. Ik you guys are saying like they even performed at the world cup but Jungkook also performed at the last world cup four years ago. I personally think that they are at their peak but i think they've held this high since before their enlistment already. They've managed to carry their momentum even through their four year hiatus. One difference i will note though, is that they have more casual listeners now. K-pop as a whole has become more widely accepted. Before it was either you listen to kpop and you're an extremely well versed stan or you're not a stan and you don't listen to kpop at all. Basically you were either 0 or you were 100. That's not the case anymore. I'd say that's the biggest difference between now and four years ago.

I’ve really been enjoying the reaction so far! Since you mentioned it might end up being three parts, I just wanted to share a suggestion. I honestly hope Part 2 is the last one, but if there does end up being a Part 3, I’d really appreciate it if the remaining parts could be released very close together, ideally on back-to-back days if possible. I know a full concert is a lot to get through, so if splitting it up is what works best for you, I think releasing the parts closer together would be a great balance. That way, you can still watch and film it at your own pace, while viewers don’t have to wait two or three weeks to finish a single concert. This is your first full BTS concert reaction, and BTS has so many incredible concerts from different eras that I’d love to see you react to. That’s why I hope this doesn’t become a situation where every concert is spread out over several weeks, because I think it takes away from the experience a little. Releasing the parts closer together feels like the best compromise for everyone.💜

I will agree with this. JK can at times be expressive but he’s not so much when he’s singing because I feel like certain if not most notes come a bit easier to him. This is nothing against the vocal line as they are all so insanely talented equally to me. I have noticed even though some may look over some of his more impressive notes most reactors I see never miss his range. It’s so vast and insanely diverse imho. 🥰💜

I completely disagree with this. I feel like Jimin is actually one of the members who rarely speaks during interviews. In other videos, he mostly just goofs around, which he still does. If anything, I feel like he’s been even more giggly recently, and I love seeing that. He isn’t sad or depressed. Armys have to understand that the boys are grown men now. They aren’t going to be as hyper or loud as they were when they were younger, and that doesn’t automatically mean they’re unhappy. Take their own words as the answer instead of making assumptions. Jimin himself has said that he’s happy right now and that he’s having fun. You might feel this way because he isn’t as openly expressive about his love for army as he used to be. Back then, the man could barely go a day without talking about how much he loved and appreciated army, and he was incredibly affectionate toward all the members. But honestly, if my “fans” and the people who claimed to love me constantly reduced my naturally affectionate personality to fanservice while accepting everyone else’s emotions as genuine, I’d probably become more reserved too.
