That’s why I’ll always prefer concerts. The songs feel so much more powerful live. You’re seeing them for real, not just through a music video. You get to see them laugh, joke around, get tired, give everything on stage, interact with each other, and feed off the crowd’s energy. The atmosphere, the fans singing every lyric, the lights, the stadium… everything makes the music feel so much more emotional and unforgettable. That’s why I always recommend watching concert performances they completely change the way you experience the songs. 🥹 Idol is such a F banger in concert 🙂‍↕️

Can you imagine everyone in the concert sing Arirang part, outside of Korea as well. I don't even have a ticket, but I learned Arirang in case I get a ticket. They got emotional hearing international army sing it in Korean in the US Europe Mexico. Also in later concerts JK started singing it with back vocals and he sounds angelic. I think they call Jimin princess because of his Rapunzel hair. Jimin and Jk are from Busan, Tae and Yoongi are from/around Daegu city, Rm and Jin are from cities Ilsan, Gwacheon, they are closer to Seoul and Hobi is from Gwangju, different area from others. They all also have different dialects. Song is called Fire, but in Korean the name is Burning up. So they have Fire and FYA. There are many men, in Korean concert maybe a little less. My Korean friend went to this concert and said that men are shy to attend any idol concerts, but he was surprised to see men in BTS concert. I guess they were just not jumping so they weren't filmed much.

Genuinely saw this section live at london day 2 and it was life changing, I don't know how the guys can do that 2 to 3 days or more per stop like 😳 I was standing not flying across a stage and singing good lol 😀 The crowd was electric and despite this part being so hype, the first part is so needed like hooligan and run bts as an intro to get everyone warmed up, like animals, fake love were just a vibe but swim and merry go rond were so pleasing to watch especially the chants too, and in micdrop. Fya/fire, not today and 2.0 were really surprising though because you could hear the whole staduum, mostly english rapping korean i kid you not, it was so cool

Re: how long the intro part was (the filler VCR) - I use that part for food/drink refills or going to the bathroom 😂😂😂 intentional or not, it's nice knowing you have a break where you're not missing the show. This part of the concert goes so hard live. I was literally elbowing everyone! And I'm going to a LA concert for my 38th birthday (on my actual birthday 9/6 lmao). So it isn't that crazy 😉 all I'll say is don't regret it lolol For Not Today, I actually prefer the studio version to the arrangement here, but the song is still so hype live. And totally agree that some songs live just hit different. This entire second section goes crazy in person (I know I keep saying this, but European and American crowds go insane, and no one will beat South America once they get there lol).

What’s so crazy is that even tho this tour is insanely high energy y’all should have seen their previous concerts they were so much crazier with their schedule and didn’t have as many breaks like their stamina is actually insane!! But it was so draining for their bodies and even bts said now that they are happy they are touring in a much healthier way and actually getting rest. So happy and proud of them💜

A fellow 1987 ... I feel seen 🥹. I honestly hope you all get to go to see them during this ARIRANG Tour. I have been ARMY since 2020 and I got to see them in Europe for the first time during this tour, and LET👏🏾 ME 👏🏾TELL👏🏾 YOU👏🏾 I had the time of my life and I was in the standing section, right by the barricades and when they walked by for IDOL ... I almost passed out I was so close to all of them (but have a great video 😜). Also we, ARMY, all went CRAAAAAAZY in Europe, I want to say that Asian concerts are a bit more modest? Europe was SO LOUD we almost couldn't hear them sing at all. The only thing I wish I had done better is gone for more dates (🤣😂), I now see why people go for multiple dates, one was really not enough, cause it feels like a fever dream to me now!! [Also, btw, Europe and the Americas so far has a vast population of men attending, it's impressive]. Anyways, looking forward to part 3, and as always, Borahae guys 💜!

Some songs have a different remix when performed at the concert compared to the studio version. Not Today doesn't sound the exact same in the regaular studio version. I hope they do more concert albums so we can listen to the remixes (the idol concert remix has always been my fave)

ARMYs had BEEN asking for a FYA + Fire remix since Arirang dropped so we were all ecstatic when they actually did make one for the concert!! Y'all are right the transition is seamless asf and the tannies really transform into something else when they do these hype songs. The one thing that remains consistent with their concert structure is starting with the most idol looks possible and slowly dressing down more until they are in casual fits with some of their merch on. The structure of the seriousness versus silliness also goes in the same direction. So as you watch they get more loose, fun, free etc. I always loved that they give us all versions of themselves in one show.

Its actually more normal to see a wide variety of people, demographics etc, including a lot more dudes when you attend / watch clips of the international shows. Trust me, every time I go, I always enjoy the mix of crowd, including dudes who arents just boyfriends or dads. Theres almost always a group near me at each concert of like 6 women in their 60s and 70s together, all dressed up in concert fits, having an absolute blast. Its genuinely refreshing to attend concerts with such a wide demo and know you all love the same thing.

Yeah, I think the make up of K-pop fan demographics in South Korea may be different. Despite K-pop being really popular internationally, there’s still a lot of stigma about it within Korea. A lot of people from what I’ve heard look down on it and consider it music for little kids. When I went to 2 concerts in my area in America there were tons of guys there.

I think generally when they perform in Korea, they’re on their best behavior (more reserved). That could be bc of the culture, but also they are most likely to have their families, former teachers, especially with it being in Busan with Jungkook and Jimin, being from there, and their friends showing up. But some of the fan cams from their American leg of the tour is wild AF lol.

Totally! I also think that due to it being Festa weekend and the only 2 shows for some time in Korea. The ticketing war was only going to be won by die-hards, which in Korea will mostly be women. I think the international shows being more frequent (if you consider the ability to travel to multiple stops) really opens up the door for a wider audience, from die-hards, to enlistment armys, to new arirang armys etc..and then the opportunity to bring friends and family. So you just get a wider range of folks. Im bringing my sister and niece for their very first BTS concert day 2 of NJ and I brought my mom to her first BTS concert for Day 1 of Tampa. Just more opportunities to spread the experience to new eyes and ears.

Cannon’s comment on people complaining about his comment that he’d be going crazy and everyone talking about respect is true there will always be people that have something to say and criticise, HOWEVER, I will say that it depends on context and what/ where the audience is for. This is crazy in person, I still can’t get over it how incredible it was in Tampa. And yes guys they do the parade in every show, I had JK and Jimin inches away from me, I regret being respectful and giving them space after watching many videos of other armys touching them 🫩 not fair! But I’m seeing them again in Baltimore Aug 10-11! 🤭 it’s worth it!

BTS have officially chosen not to submit ARIRANG for the Grammys. After years of using BTS for views, trying to confine one of the biggest and most influential artists in the world to a separate “Asian Pop” category is so dismissive, same goes to other categories they’ve made over the years. Music deserves to be judged alongside everyone else, not divided by race or language. This decision says a lot about their integrity imo

Fun fact, BTS did multiple interviews recently for Arirang promo, they showed up individually/duo on Korean shows, had ot7 interviews as well, made vlogs. It'd be so much fun to watch them with you. I think there's a playlist on yt with most of them in it. Also I think you will definitely love to watch V on Dingo Story where he meets an army. It's really wholesome 💜

I cannot hear Into the Sun without tears coming in now. I've been to 3 concerts but Jungkook was bawling his eyes out at the Paris Day 2 concert which happened to be my last concert. EVERYONE in the crowd was crying their heart out by the end of the concert. What a moment.

They do mute the crowd to improve sound quality of the music, because this show was recorded for live broadcast on Weverse and in theaters globally. Korean ARMYs are not as quiet as it seems in this.
