I had forgotten just how rampant compulsive lying is in the Kpop community. bts has spoken time and again about drawing inspiration from the Black community; kpop as a whole borrows heavily from Western art specifically black artists. So, trying to downplay BTS’s significance by bringing up first and second-generation groups who were notorious for copying songs by Britney, TLC, and Beyoncé is absolutely shameful. Honestly it's just those specific ARMY. I'm ARMY through and through (barely listen to any k pop), and was slammed down front, left and back and front by a VERY few ARMY, hurling "multi" at me like it was an insult (and like it was true), just bc I was slightly critical about ONE fan-made video lol. I wouldn't take it personally. Some people don't know how to control their emotions on the internet when there isn't someone face-to-face to call them out on it (or slap their ahhh for acting out of pocket). Bullying others on the internet and namecalling makes them feel like Gulliver bc perhaps they feel small IRL. It's best just to feel pity for them quietly and move on.

They perked up at Cortis (which makes sense bc their music is similar to a lot of artists they already listen to), which I suspect is why they've gone back to them and included them on this poll. It's very clear when they are into something (they all talk with their faces LOL), versus when they're politely listening in order to appease requests and make people happy. I know it's not what some people want to hear. And I too think it's fun when they see what's out there, but I don't think they can force something they don't vibe with. They consume a lot of BTS content outside of what they watch for us, so there is genuine interest there. Personally I always try to make sure there's at least enough of my preferred content to match the value of a one month subscription BEFORE I subscribe (you can still see post history w/out a subscription). That way it ensures that I got my money's worth upfront, and anything they upload during my subscription month, is a bonus.

You don’t have to be an anti of anyone to recommend a group other than BTS. All multi-stans are simply asking for more diversity in the voting polls. Someone might have worded their opinion poorly, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to dump all that hate on them in the comments. You honestly can't blame the Geks. They said before they were mostly focusing on BTS. I'm a multi-stan too but it was kinda already set in stone they were mainly doing BTS until they are ready to dive into another group. And they always say "there always time to look at others" or "no rush". So, I'm guessing until they fully cover BTS, they will move on to another group to mainly focus on next. Idk how long it will take, but I understand your point of view. I'm mainly here for BTS but I would also love them reacting to other groups like how they do in their lives. I’d love to see both BTS content and content from other groups! I’m kind of hoping in the future, we could have maybe 2 days dedicated to BTS, where we can do polls for BTS only content, and another day dedicated to any other group where we can vote on what to watch. It's their money, but it doesn't seem like best practice to pay for something you don't know you're getting, especially when there is a CLEAR pattern that they're currently 90% BTS. Creators can promise whatever they want, bu it's not like they're contracted to follow through. So it's best to lurk, check post history, pay only when there's enough of your preferred content that you'll be happy paying for at least one month.
