Just wanted to leave some positivity here because I’m genuinely SO happy that this stream gave so many other artists and fandoms their moment. 🥹🫶 Seeing Lngshot, Red Velvet, EXO, ENHYPEN, ATEEZ, JENNIE, aespa and TXT all getting reactions was honestly so nice, especially knowing that some fans have been waiting and requesting their favorites for a long time. 💜 To everyone who finally got a reaction they were hoping for: I’m SO happy for you!! 😭🫂 I hope you enjoyed every second of it, and I genuinely hope this is only the beginning. A friend of my friend was dating a kpop idol in 2024, she is from a very big girl group, I can't say who. They have studied together since elementary school and she was dating him since before fame. When my friend told me and showed me pictures, I told him that I see a lot of rumors of her dating different kpop idols. And he told me that every time she and her real boyfriend get somehow caught together, company makes those rumors to cover up her real boyfriend, they also pay paparazzi to not publish photos. Because he is not a celebrity, it is not a big news and gets outshined by random rumors of her dating bigger artists. My point is, there are a lot of rumors and it is really hard to know whether idol is dating someone or not. Kpop companies are really good at hiding their private life. We know of their relationship when they openly show it. Jungkook has rumors every week, so idk. Not sure about Taehyung, could also be a very convincing rumor. Officially we only know that Jimin was in relationship a few years ago. P.S. my lore with Geks, I have been with you since first episode of AOT!

to boast about red velvet now!! Psycho (2019) is their biggest hit globally. Bad Boy (2017) was their biggest international hit. and Red Flavor (2017 is their biggest hit in korea! But when i say they have hit after hit i mean they have hit after hit. They’re not underrated or unknown their fans are just a bit more quiet compared to other fandoms! They are considered one of the big 3 of girl groups alongside Blackpink and Twice. While the other two are more know for large fanbases red velvet are loved by music critics across the board. They are a 3rd gen girl group who debut under sm entertainment (one of the big 3/4 companies) in 2014, originally as a 4 member group. They became 5 after a year where their youngest member, Yeri, was added. They have 2 sides to their music a “red” side and a “velvet” side. “Red” is their brighter, pop-y, and experimental sounds. “Velvet” is their mature, R&B, and Ballad sounds. However they have said they have a “red velvet” side as well where they blend the two sides together, which you’ll only understand more once you listen to their music. They are commonly called the “vocal queens”, “concept queens”, and “summer queens” and are know to have one of the widest range of discographies in kpop. to boast about the members Wendy is considered one of the best vocalists in the industry Joy has been nicknamed the “tone fairy” and “cover queen” Seulgi has been called a hexagonal idol )meaning extremely versatile Yeri, while currently focusing more on acting as her solo career is still begged by fans to release her first solo album. And is known for having a lighter airy voice and being a main part in red velvets harmonies Irene is arguably the most successful solo singer of the group, despite being the groups main rapper. She also only started releasing solo music in the past three years too. Like my girls are KNOWN and LOVED. Yes please red velvet video soon!! :) To yap more while i’m here: Psycho’s release was actually an EXTREMELY tough time for Red Velvet and Fans. They were set to perform it live on stage for the first time at an end of year special concert. During a rehearsal for a special collab stage, there was an issue with the stage in the dark that wendy did not see in time unfortunately leading her to fall about 8 ft off a platform. She broke multiple bones, including ones in her face and had to be on hiatus for about a year to recover. The rest of the girls had to continue promotions without her and the song received little to know promotion from their company because of the situation. They were even on tour at the time, and then, of course, covid happened so it was hit after hit.

TXT is my fav after BTS. They have that OG BigHit feel to them. From their lyrics, to production gives me early BTS Vibes but modern. They have a very fresh aesthetic. It's not just noisy sound nusic(no shade, some grps do it better-like aespa) but they have very non-kpop like sound, like BTS. Their MVs are beautiful, meaningful. Enhyphen too-Great music, my fav is Moonstruck, a banger!! RV are OG kpop. They have changed their sound a lot. I loved early RV with bad boy, zimzalabim, Russian roulette,, etc. But nothing tops BTS. BTS Isn't just music-it's overall artistry. No one writes songs like BTS does, their messages are warm, best rap line out there. Then you have Jimin lol. No one can match him. And the intellect of RM. I can write essays but yeah, it's crazy how diff BTS is from mainstream kpop and that's what made them big.

i adore fatal trouble (probably my most played enhypen song ever) , but i think mv-wise and since it’s only the geks’ second time watching enhypen, drunk-dazed is a GREAT pick. plus, d-d is a GOATED track and there’s a reason it’s a fan favourite. i remember convos in the kpop world being centred around enhypen when they had their first comeback and it was largely because of drunk-dazed. as for love shot over tempo—i would have voted tempo over it too, but hey: i missed the livestream :(

I’ve been listening to so much TXT since this stream, I forgot how good their music is! They were at the forefront of 4th gen for a while, especially around 2022–2023, and I feel like people forget just how huge they were. They’re still super popular, but I do think they lost a little momentum at some point, especially as their music started branching more into the Western market and other boy groups like Stray Kids, ENHYPEN and ATEEZ kept getting bigger. There was a period where it felt like TXT were moving away from some of the sound and identity that made them stand out so much. But what I love is that they never completely abandoned it and they’ve continued putting out genuinely great music that still feels like TXT. I don’t think they’ve ever quite recaptured the level of hype they had at their peak, but their discography has stayed SO good. And props to them for still having such a distinct identity when I feel like a lot of k-pop lately has been moving toward similar sounds and trends.

Cannon you’re so real for what you said about “0X1=LOVESONG”, TXT has always been so good at making songs that sound upbeat and catchy but still make you emotional. “Run Away” is another perfect example, it used to be one of my favourites. The song and choreography are so energetic, but the lyrics and feeling are pretty emotional. I discovered ATEEZ during their Pirate Era back in 2019. I was captivated and thought they are incredible. The whole concept had me obsesed. I still love them and have their concerts on blu-ray since concerts are too loud. However I feel like I could relate more to their older music than their newer stuff. I missed their Pirate era. It feels so nostalgic to me. Wow you've been fan of K-pop for a long time. I didn't know about it when I was in high school. And your classmates were probably just jealous. Glad you had other friends who you could share your passion with. Haha that's hilarious but I can see that. They don't give off sibling energy and I've seen clips if that segment on YouTube. It was too adorable. They really are a natural with kids and babies. I don't know if I was more jealous of the baby or the members. As a BTS-only fan, I had no problem with the stream. It must have been fun for the geks and other K-pop fans, and honestly, I’m glad you guys finally got more K-pop content that doesn’t revolve around BTS. I get it. However, I do want to come on here and say that it’s not that us army hate K-pop. It’s an industry filled with hardworking people, but like I said, it’s an industry. That doesn’t necessarily mean army need to constantly branch out. Army are actually music lovers and, for the most part, very open-minded. I think we can all agree that while yes, BTS is K-pop, there are many factors that make them more than just idols. They have always been artists first. What bothers me is reading comments calling army toxic when most of the time those comments are based on one or two toxic, parasocial fans. As someone who is part of a female-dominated fandom, it’s honestly sad to constantly be put into this toxic stereotype because we’re not a monolith. Yes, there are toxic people in the fandom, but the loyal, kind, and normal fans outnumber them by A LOT, and you can see that behavior at BTS events, especially their concerts. Army is such a HUGE fandom that, naturally, we’re going to be more visible than smaller fandoms. This isn’t me hating on fans of other groups at all. I know there are plenty of kind people in those fandoms too. But when you see so many fandoms coming together to label army as toxic, it makes it seem like we’re the problem simply because we’re one massive fandom. And regarding the dating RUMORS, it’s not that army are being parasocial. We all know how these rumors can harm idols, and dating rumors in Korea can be very different from how they’re treated in the West. The mere suggestion can become controversial. The way some of these rumors even start is funny to me because apparently you just have to be in the same place or have the same phone case for people to create a whole dating “scandal.” 😭 Yes, there are parasocial fans in the fandom, but sadly, those people exist everywhere. That doesn’t represent the majority of army. Army do not “hate” every other group like some people claim. Most of us simply don’t care about them. But when K-pop fans as a whole come together to hate on BTS and create massive hate trains like the one they’re currently experiencing, of course we’re going to defend them. If people are going to throw hate at BTS, they shouldn’t be surprised when army push back. I also want to say that BTS is not “cancelled.” While yes, two or three members have made mistakes and, as an army, I’m not going to sit here and pretend otherwise, I’m also not going to pretend this isn’t the usual performative outrage that K-pop fans love participating in. The fandom can be disappointed and still support BTS while expecting accountability. Those things can coexist. And honestly, a lot of you are getting way too comfortable hating on BTS while acting like your faves have never mentioned, praised, or worked with Chris Brown. 😭😭 Please, I’m tired. This isn’t hate at all. I’m just trying to get my point across. I genuinely love seeing the geks explore K-pop and I hope you guys continue doing these streams because they clearly bring a lot of joy to the community. One final thing: please don’t bring the Twitter hate and cringey comments over here. It’s annoying, and I’d much rather see actual discussion and people enjoying the music.

The only time thats ever happened is manyy years ago when "V" Said that. Like 9-10 years ago. I have been in this fandom for so long, never heard anyone say we were partners lol. Jin clocks fans time to time but I never heard BTS calling us gfs or anything like that? However, this relation became parasocial becoz they always name ARMY in everything. Genuine question, what ISN'T racist about an non-black man financially profiting from wearing locs, using african american venicular english, wearing cultural headwear, and then responding to the community who owns those cultural items (that are rightfully educating and criticising those actions) by saying he's entitled to using those cultural items because he's a fan of rap and because other races use chopsticks?? IDK if you're new to kpop but Jay Park use to argue us DOWN on Twitter and Instagram every time he did something racist or appropriated and didn't want to admit it or apologize. It's in poor moral taste to excuse Jay Park because "other kpop idols have done similar". Those other kpop idols have been internationally scrutinized just as much as Jay Park, look at Kiss Of Life for example. A lot of those kpop idols have also apologized/have not culturally appropriated for many years since then, showcasing a change in mindset and behavior. Meanwhile Jay Park continues to excuse his behavior, argues back with the black community that HE is stealing ideas from, and refuses to apologize or take accountability. And I don't like lngshot because they profit off Jay Park's caricatures by association and they also reflect his ideals i mean, look at the kid's hair style in the video?? It wont be long before he asks them to start wearing locs and durags too unfortunately. You can personally decide to overlook Jay Park's bad behavior, thats your prerogative. Its another thing to call him a good person and get mad at people for disliking someone who continuously takes from their culture without credit and without respect. Aww Saida, I seriously love you!!! You're amazing!!! Everytime we talk it makes me feel instantly better especially when I go through anxiety and depression. I've had it all my life but more so with hyperacusis and tinnitus that hits me like a tidal wave. That's why I take breaks on here. Plus, I get in a really dark place a lot. WOAHHHHH! okay, firstly, you have absolutely nothing to apologise for—you didn’t wake me or keep me up, so don’t worry at all. secondly, i am actually speechless right now. your poem evoked such a visceral reaction from me, much more intensely than i expected. i found myself feeling the words as i read them, felt the crushing violence of the ocean like actual waves were crashing into me. i used to study english literature at school and my favourite part about it was being able to analyse evocative poetry and other texts; especially when the words struck a chord. your words did EXACTLY that. they honestly left me breathless, so thank you for that. i could honestly write a whole essay on exactly how your words made me feel; but i think that might take too long for the both of us 😅. i just want to thank you again for sharing this with me and for letting me feel your words—i also hope that the feelings you felt when you wrote this poem aren’t as present in your life anymore, because that weight is an especially heavy one. i haven’t seen your other work, but i agree with anya and tivy: this was such a well-written poem. so much so that i wonder if you’ve ever thought about writing stories? reading this poem felt like going on a journey with a character in a book, it came from such a raw place that i know this “character” is you; but i think you’d do a fantastic job if you ever decided to author a book (i know i’d read it!) thank you again betsy, baring yourself in this way was incredibly brave and i feel really special that you chose to share this with me. please feel free to edit your comment or delete it altogether if that’s what you want—i’ll feel the impact of your words forever, even if i only got to read them once or twice <3

Awwww thank you so much, Saida!!!! Hehehe 🤗 That means a lot to me more than you realize. And I'm glad I didn't wake you up or anything. Also that's so cool you used to study english literature. I bet that was fun. Literature was my favorite subject in school. I took poetry and creative writing in high school and college. That's where my love for poetry and creating vivid stories grew. You probably could tell haha I wrote it when I had a really long bad ear infection. It was also during the beginning of Covid when the world felt overwhelming and I was full of uncertainty and fear. I also was watching The movie, "The Shallows" and wanted to put myself into her character but with my ear condition and the new world that was falling before me. Everything felt foreign and terrifying. It was caused my hyperacusis and tinnitus over time. But yeah, watching movies, and listening to music inspires my writing. It causes me to think deeply... I'm glad it evoked such a powerful feeling for you. I love incorporating a lot of imagery, metaphors and world play to my pieces to give it more life. Writing frees my soul. It's my escape.... I go into another world. I have thought about making poetry collection but I'm hestitant and scared to show it to the world. I'm not good with criticism and I know I would get a lot of positive and negative feedback. But if I ever did, I would give you a signed copy lol Yeah I do still feel like this sometimes but it's not ad intense as it was back then thankfully. It's on and off... Hello guys, hope you've been well! Wasn't around for the stream but I can sort of imagine what happened from the comments here. As you are my age-mate Millennials, I don't have to give you the "It is your channel, you do you" spill, because you already know (millennials, we listen and take things into account always, BUT ULTIMATELY, we will do what we feel is right for us, while still trying not to cause MAJOR disruptions 🥰). But I do have a little "story time" moment. This weekend I had a work get-together event and casually met a VIP (bigbang stan) who was in charge of the playlist and played many KPOP artists BUT BTS, so I asked her the name of some songs, I enjoyed listening to songs I already knew and we started a kpop discourse. I am ARMY through and through and I don't stan any other groups, but I can appreciate art, it's not that deep. Yet when she told me "you are a very nice ARMY", I realized that our fandom is waaaaay to big and the ones that are loud, and/or hating, tend to be the more "immature" ones. LONG STORY TO SAY, there are a lot of ARMY on this planet and VAST MAJORITY just mind their business, don't care about who listens to what and will not try to "indoctrinate" you, because BTS usually "found us" so we know better, and it is kind of a personal journey. If you happen to like them great, if not, still great, you do you! And on behalf of mature ARMY, I hope you keep enjoying your journey through kpop (I'll mainly be here for BTS content, as been there done that, but it is a gigantic journey I think you guys will really enjoy!) I see more comments talking about BTS/ARMY than the so called hate.....to be honest I'm only here for BTS content so I don't even vote in polls on live streams because I assume they are for other groups.... I wouldn't be surprised if most ARMYs on this channel feel like that. I'll wait for the BTS content and skip what I could care less about. betsy…i’ve read this poem twice now. the first time, i found my body reacting to the words before my mind did—my heart literally started beating faster and my chest started aching. the second time, i found myself getting teary eyed as i understood the weight of your words more deeply and i’m still holding back tears as i type these words. you really have an indescribable talent for setting the scene beautifully with your words and i want to thank you again for sharing them with me; sincerely and wholeheartedly, thank you. you weren’t kidding about how dark it was, but i can’t help but feel like writing this was a therapeutic experience for you. like a way to purge yourself of these thoughts and feelings and leave them all on the page…i hope it was cathartic and not scary because you deserve nothing less. that being said, i know i said “crash” was my favourite, but i honestly think this one has now dethroned it for me. i ADORE crash because of how perfectly it captures the feeling of being overwhelmed and unable to breathe; “realization” (my british keyboard hates the z spelling of that word btw, haha) seems to have embedded itself more intrinsically into my soul at the moment. maybe because i can relate to its words a bit more right now…i have a feeling both of your pieces are gonna keep resonating with me in the upcoming months 😅❤️‍🔥. And I'm going to sound corny but I wrote it about my second crush, The Boyz Juyeon me and my little parasocial self eek help lol. I'm such a hopeless romantic in general. It does come in handy with my writing though. I'm so glad my words can connect with you so well and your life's journey. Sorry you're going through a rough time in your life right now. Hope you can find peace and comfort soon. I know it's hard and can feel very confusing sonetimes. I wrote "Darkness" last year when I couldn't sleep. I write most of my poems real late at night since I'm an insomniac. And also since I have hyperacusis and tinnitus, and tmj. It feels heavy a lot. And sadly, I still live at home at the age 36 and am unemployed. I feel so much deep shame and embarrassment from it and have been single since 2013 due to a toxic relationship that left me with a lot of emotional scars and trust issues. The guy I dated back then was too controlling and always made me doubt myself. He's not the same one from "Realization" though. Love you girl! You're pretty awesome yourself. sis you are all of those things and more, i hope you’re aware of how talented you are! but based on your second paragraph, i don’t think you are :( before i address that though, i thought we established that you are allowed to be inspired by your favourite people and/or crushes and that INCLUDES JUYEON!!! it’s interesting you mention tbz because they’ve been all over my timeline since sangyeon’s return from the military. i watched their idol radio ot9 video (sadly no chanhee and juhaknyeon) and realised i hadn’t seen them in SO LONG! forgot how handsome and talented they all were, especially juyeon, he is a perfect crush to have and a great one to write songs about too :). i am in a rough place at the moment but i’m honestly feeling lighter each day that goes by, so i know everything will be okay! it’s actually my 24th birthday today (it just hit midnight on the 20th in the uk) and despite how absolutely debilitated and sad i’ve been feeling of late; and the fact that i thought i’d be so much more accomplished by this age (i really thought I’d be in an established career and married by now haha), i’m actually not as depressed by the fact that i’m not there yet. 24 is also my favourite number so this age was built up in my mind too much!! anywho, i’m telling you all this because, even though i’m younger than you and am not in the same situation as you, i want you to know that age and accomplishment are not synonymous. i obviously don’t know you in real life, but through what you have shared and the person i’ve come to know on this platform, i KNOW you are a talented, kindhearted and an extremely brave person and you have nothing to be ashamed about. you shine so brightly under every video you comment under and this community is extremely lucky to have you; i know telling you this doesn’t change your circumstances in terms of your health (which i pray gets better) or your relationship status (even though any one would be lucky to have you), but i just needed to tell you. i, for one, i’m glad you are out of that toxic relationship and i can’t wait for you to meet your person one day soon!

Thank you so much! Those words mean more to me than you realize. I guess I am talented. I wrote all the poems on a whim. Your friendship is such a warm comfort. I feel the love :) Honestly, I don't have much confidence in myself anymore. I have very low self-esteem. I don't see my true value or worth or even my beauty even though I get compliments often from random strangers. I'm not good at taking them. I feel awkward. But talking to everyone on here including YOU really helps me feel more comfortable and at home and less scared. I can be more vulnerable. Aww Happy 24th Birthday!!! Hope you have an amazing day. You deserve it! Still, I understand that feeling perfectly. The older I get the more depressed, anxious, and scared I feel with each birthday. Mine was on the 13th. I went antiquing with my folks. I love it. It feels like going back in time. It's one of my favorite hobbies next to reading and writing poetry and listening to jazz music and watching british murder mysteries such as Midsomer Murders, Father Brown, and for comedy, Mr. Bean or Keeping Up Appearances lol Aww I'm so sorry that it's been such a scary, rough, and challeging time for you currently. I can relate though. And thankfully, you're still young and can go at your own pace. Everyone goes through different life stages. It's okay. And I'll be keeping you in my prayers. Glad your days have been feeling lighter. Hope they can continue to become that way where they are light as air. Yeah that's understandable the pressure of marriage and societal expectations. It puts us on a pedestal. And 24 is a really good number and 7 has always been my favorite number. Also, I have a lot of depression with being adopted and not knowing my birth family. I'm from Seoul, South Korea. I started watching Kdramas and listening to Kpop to learn more about my roots and culture. But I still feel like an outsider and alien. It makes me feel like an imposter. I carry a lot of cultural grief. However, I'm grateful and blessed for the family I have. I just still feel this huge void at the same time. Thanks, girl. You're right. I forgot lol I appreciate it. That's funny and ironic that The Boyz have been taking over your feed lately. But yes, Juyeon is so handsome and I love how down to earth and sweet he is sometimes awkward which is even more endearing. Him and Hyunin look so intimidating on stage but are total cinnamon rolls in real life which is cute. And yeah I'm kind of cynical and jaded with love and romance. 2026-09-23 11:00 Thank you, Saida! Yeah I write "Realization" one night when I couldn't fall asleep due to racing thoughts so I write down my poems so I don't forget them later on. And yeah my writing comes to me randomly since I'm a deep thinker and always lost in thought. I guess it is. I don't have much confidence in my writing abilities either. I felt like my poetry was average for so long. But then agan I've seen modern poetry books and they don't give as much detail or imagery and metaphors that I love. Yes antiquing is my happy place. I love browsing at all the vintage treasures. It feels like a time capsule plus I love history :) And I try to have confidence but I second guess myself constantly, overthink things, and compare myself to other women all the time. I went to my Granny's funeral/celebration of life in July. It was her and my Papaw's who passed away during COVID. But anyway, I kept getting compliments saying how gorgeous, beautiful, pretty I was but it just made me feel shy, awkward, out of place, and completely surprised. It always catches me off guard since I haven't felt attractive once I got older with some gray strands. However, people still say I look young since I'm short, petite with a round face and long wavy black hair and glasses. I guess it's my asian roots lol Aww you don't sound creepy at all. It was sweet and cute. You're too kind! Your compliment made me smile and giggle. I'm so glad I can make your days better with my comments. I try my best to stay positive even when my life feels out of my control a lot. Sorry you don't have as much confidence in your self and low self-esteem but that's good you get strength from God. It will help you a lot. I pray for him to guide you everyday and give you more courage and strength. I was raised Baptist. And being close to him is important. I've just falling behind... I'm a christian but my faith has waivered ever since I went to college and afterwards. I feel lost. Truth is, I haven't been to church in so long. I'm ashamed but it's too loud and noisy. I did write a poem about my faith when it was stronger back when I was younger during my college years. I'll have to show you sometime. And that's okay not wanting to get married yet. The idea of marriage terrifies me and also someone seeing all my flaws and insecurities since I have a lot of them. Hope this isn't tmi, but I'm also a virgin and waiting until marriage. I want it to be for love and not just something casual and meaningless. But it's hard and I feel incredibly lonely. It makes me feel alienated, ashamed, and embarrassed when society is so crazy now will people acting so promiscious. But yeah that's good you stand your ground and don't let them dictate your life. Any guy would be lucky to have someone like you. It would be such a privilege. You have such a kind heart and seem genuine and also relatable and easy going. I love the intrigue, the heavy plot storylines, and the intricate and eccentric characters. The village town so cozy and whimsical. I watch it with my parents. It keeps you intrigued. But I also really enjoy Murder She Wrote. It's not British but it's another cozy murder mystery series that had 12 or 13 seasons. And yeah Mr. Bean will always hold a special place in my heart. He's the king of britsh comedy in my opinion! I find his wackiness and misfortunes hilarious. He's a different breed. However, my favorite sitcom is Seinfeld. Anyway, thank you again for being here for me. I'm really lucky and it's been so fun getting to know you more on here on a personal level. It's all thanks to Weak Hero!!! brace yourself, this is a long response 😅😅 i like to sketch or make long voice memos to let my feelings out on nights when i can’t fall asleep (look at us flexing our creativity hehe). when you say you’re always lost in thought, does that include daydreaming? because something that blows the minds of everyone in my life is that i’ve never been a daydreamer…i honestly don’t know why. maybe i need external stimulation or something, like i can imagine things just fine when i’m watching or reading something; but i’ve never been able to be creative “on the spot” if that makes sense? also, i think being a creative is THE FREEEST thing on this planet—there is no “right way” to do it, that counts for your poetry too so don’t hold yourself to any standard (there are none except the ones you create for yourself!). i can only imagine what kind of cool treasures you’ve found on your antiquing journey, i’m happy for you :). i studied history A Level and my degree was based in a lot of it too, safe to say i love it too! betsy, it is a cliche statement for a reason but have you ever heard: “comparison is the thief of joy”?. because it really freaking is!! i know it is easier said than done, but i really hope we can both stop degrading and comparing ourselves to others. i’m sorry to hear your granny and pawpaw passed, may they rest in peace <3. i honestly think it’s very attractive to be shy of receiving compliments, especially on your appearance. but not to the point of not believing it when people say nice things about you! be confident betsy, grey hairs and all! ageing is natural and beautiful and so are you. i also need to work on loving myself a bit more, we can both do it! i really believe we can! (i know i sound overly optimistic, but if we don’t believe in ourselves, who will?). thank you for praying for me, nothing makes me feel warmer than knowing that someone out there is adding me to their prayers—genuinely no other feeling compares. because prayer is such an intimate thing to me (i’m muslim, idk if i’ve made that obvious yet or not haha). i pray that God grants you ease in your health and makes each day lighter and brighter for you, may He grant you every good thing this life has to offer and protect you from the bad! as for drifting from faith, sis that happens to ALL OF US at some point. like it is literally part and parcel of having faith. we have this concept called “iman” in islam, the direct translation is “faith” and the thing about iman is that you can go from feeling high on it one moment to feeling completely in the depths of loss in the next. the fluctuation is just a byproduct of navigating this world and as long as you WANT to keep tethered to your Creator, He will be there for you—no matter how distant you feel from Him. sorry if it sounds like i’m preaching to you, i’m not trying to; i just want you to know you’re not alone. i’d love for you to share that poem about your faith, whenever you want to <3. oh and you being terrified of the concept of marriage because of how you have to bare yourself to the other person, SO RELATABLE!! i was actually talking about this exact thing to my friend the other day: i am absolutely terrified of the special type of intimacy that one can only share with their romantic partner. because wdym they see EVERY part of my mind and heart?? it’s beautiful but terrifying, i understand you!! and betsy, the virgin thing isn’t tmi, because same haha. 2026-09-27 22:00 Hey Saida! I'm so sorry it took me a few days to respond back. Truth is, my ears have been acting up and I've been feeling a little dizzy, stressed, overwhelmed, and tired lately. Therefore, I've been taking a break for a little bit. It helps just to turn off my lights except my LED mushroom light of course and then close my eyes and rest. My system feels like it's in overload sometimes lol Also, I didn't realize that my membership expired so I had to renew it today. Sometimes I let it slip up on me haha Anyhow, I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your comment and continue to learn more about you. It's beautiful how we've bult such a strong friendship gradually through this Patreon. Oh and that's amazing that you like to sketch and voice memos to unwind and let your creative juices flow. I'm sure it's very freeing. I love how we are both creatives but in different and unique ways. Aww that's okay to not daydream. Everyone is different so not everyone does. But to your question, yes I do daydream a lot in fact. Maybe it's because I think so deeply and intensely. My mind natural starts to drift off. However I get confused with daydreaming and fantasizing. I know they are different but sometimes it's hard for me to decipher between the two. And also I have vivid dreams (Lucid Dreaming) It's been that way for a long time now. They feel so real. It feels kind of crazy... and unhinged at times. I used to have sleep paralysis as well and even wrote some poems about it because it affected me so much. It was when I was sleep deprived and fueled with stress. It's a bizarre and utterly terrifying experience... Hope you've never experienced it. Anyway, yeah I've found some really unique and special pieces on my antiquing outings/journey. I AM REALLY LUCKY TO HAVE BETSY ON HERE, GENUINELY SO SO LUCKY! to betsy: i will always love reading your comments, so please always keep em coming!!!! you're MY "beacon of light" on here!!! it's definitely hard to view celebrities you admire as normal people, ESPECIALLY kpop idols (i mean they're called "idols" for goodness sake, that already makes them seem untouchable). but you're right, you'd have to be the world's best actor to pretend to be as sweet and adorable as both juyeon and hyunjin seem; keeping a persona like that for YEARS is genuinely impossible, they'd slip up and expose themselves if they were anything less than good people. and YES, they feel all the same emotions we do!!! i am yet to meet any celebrity, let alone one i admire, so i'll let you know how i react when it happens hehe. oh sisssss, my heart aches every single time i think about the fact that enhypen is 6 now, like i genuinely feel pain in my chest. i can only handle consuming their stuff in small doses: i'll watch their content if it shows up on my feed and i'll engage with it and find it funny/cute/adorable etc; i'll listen to their ot7 music (but i usually have to psych myself up for it and can only listen to a few at a time and only on repeat like once, it's weirdly easier for me to listen to their new ot6 album because i don't hear heeseung's voice...even if i can hear his influence on their voices...) and i will ALWAYS love them (jake and jungwon will always be my biases) and they'll always be the reason i was able to get through 2020. but my relationship to them has definitely changed, it hurts to be an engene for me right now and i wish it didn't but it does. so i completely get you. it's easier being an ever for me atm, and it's because heeseung is by himself, he doesn't have his boys anymore and despite not knowing the true reasons behind why he couldn't release solo projects while still being in enhypen, i'm happy that he still gets to pursue this thing he loves so much–i'm happy enhypen gets to as well. i'm happy for them to stay separate AS LONG AS THEY ARE HAPPY, does that make sense? it definitely doesn't get rid of the hurt or the frustration or confusion, but it helps me still be a fan of all of them. i just wish it was common practise for a member who has left a group (and there is no bad blood) to still be able to interact publicly with his members!!! but i guess that only works if there is full transparency for why he left in the first place and we all know there isn't. anywho, another reason why it's easy for me to support heeseung as evan is because i feel like i understand him WAY MORE now that he's a solo artist. although i simultaneously admired and felt bad for him in i-land, i wasn't his biggest fan because i didn't get why he was this untouchable "super-trainee" that all the others were obsessed with. i felt like it wasn't fair on the rest of them to constantly view themselves as less-than when it came to him and my 16/17 (i can't remember how old i was) brain thought he had an undeserved ego. don't get me wrong, i could tell he was EXTREMELY talented, but i just didn't get why he was constantly voted as leader and given all the part ones and whatnot. ANYWAY, i rewatched i-land just before the announcement came (crazy timing) and belatedly realised how HARD heeseung was working and not just for himself but for EVERYONE ELSE too. like he, from the first day, tried his hardest to show how he was the same as the rest of them and any time he was given a prominent role, it was the OTHER trainees who put him in that position, not him. he was struggling while being so unbelievably selfless and he had such immense pressure on his shoulders because of how everyone else, including bangpd and zico and the others viewed him. I DON'T KNOW HOW I DIDN'T SEE ALL THIS THE FIRST TIME ROUND!!!! i was too obsessed with the "underdogs" like jake, nicholas, jungwon and taki to see anything else. sorry for rambling about this, but it took that i-land rewatch, the solo announcement + how heeseung handled it and how hard he's been working on his album + his heartfelt interactions with fans AND OMG HIM REVEALING HOW HE HAD CANCER AS A CHILD for me to truly understand the kind of person he is. girl, i cried when i read the article where he revealed his childhood with cancer, it put SO MUCH into perspective for me. okay, ramble about heeseung over, sorry again for typing so much!!! also, the fact that he was your bias in enhypen must make his departure hurt even more, but i'm happy that both of us are still engenes (even if it hurts!) and sunghoon is SUCH A PERFECT BIAS FOR YOU!! grandpa energy is so accurate hahaha. fun fact, it was after i saw sunghoon's trainee banner for i-land that i decided to watch it–i was quite literally IN AWE of his visuals and i just KNEW he'd be in the final group; i was so happy seeing his talents shine more and more in each episode (chamber five and flicker are my favourite i-land unit performances and they're largely because of sunghoon!).
