I recommend using ‘doolset lyrics’ for a real in-depth translation of bts music! the translations in the colour-coded videos can often be incorrect and those google ai explanations aren’t very accurate either

Just a note about the 2 Cool 4 Skool album— It’s their shortest album, and not including the skit and intro/outro I think it’s literally only like 3-4 songs and under 15-20 minutes lol. So I’m not sure if it’ll need to be split into two reactions like some of their longer albums might, just a heads up!

Hey Geks, just giving yall a heads up, there’s actually only 3 songs on 2 Cool 4 Skool. The rest are interludes/skits and the intro is only 1 minute long. It’s gonna take you only 20 minutes to listen to the whole thing and definitely less than 10 minutes to dissect the 3 songs as they’re fairly straight forward and not nearly as deep as their future works. I know you guys are a little traumatized from the MOTS 7 reaction but I promise you that is MOTS 7 is an outlier in their discography and most of their albums can be listened to & dissected in one sitting, ESPECIALLY their first 3 (the school triology) as they’re super short. As you move through the years and their works get longer and more intricate, you should definitely start splitting it up!

I could be wrong, but I think they’re splitting it into two parts for one of two reasons: Plan A: They listen to the whole album, watch the music video, and then come back next week to dissect everything. Plan B: They go song by song, watch the video, read the lyrics, and immediately discuss the meaning and symbolism in depth. If that’s the case, they’ll definitely need Part 2 because we know how in-depth they get, which I really enjoy hearing people’s interpretations of song lyrics and music videos, so I think it would be such a cool idea, especially after seeing how the concert went. I honestly really enjoyed it. It gave me something to look forward to and made each day feel like it went by faster. I really love that feeling. 🥹

SHINee would be amazing for you all to see! They are another group known for their insane vocals. They are legends! Wish they had a Killing Voice for you all to see all their classic songs! Haha But anyway, Replay, Ring Ding Dong, Lucifer, Sherlock (Clue + Note) Don't Call Me, Hard are few you could choose from. You won't be disappointed I promise. Shouldn't Rise of Bangtan just be a weekly thing since, it's kinda documentary and a long one at that, it'll take forever for it to finish if you keep it at Weekly polls imo. Also 2 cool for Skool is a mini album which will not take more than 20-30 mins of the reaction time. Makes no sense in breaking mini albums in two parts. Full length album still makes sense. Please check out the dance practices of the song that you've heard before, so that you go to the old MVs and songs fresh.

I agree with the comments! You should definitely react to “I Need U” (the explicit version) before the next ROB episode! Dance practices are cool, but you really haven’t listened to a looooooooooot of BTS songs yet. Also, for the first 2–3 BTS albums, you don’t need to split your reactions into multiple videos. They’re only about 20 minutes each, so you could easily react to the whole album in one episode!

If throwback wins, it makes sense to listen to the more popular groups (there are tons of other great groups, but for sake of easing into it this makes sense). SNSD (girls generation) for sure. Perhaps their debut track 'Into the new world', and later songs like 'The Boys' and maybe 'Genie'. As for boygroups SHINee with songs like 'Lucifer', 'Sherlock (clue+note), and/or 'Ring Ding Dong'. Soloists Sunmi or Taemin would be great too, but i figured maybe groups would be better.

i'm definitely biased, but i think you guys should focus on kpop right now (3rd, 4th, 5th gen) before trying to go back to 1st/2nd gen. you have barely covered half of BTS. i don't mean for this to be any hate or negativity. I want to see you guys react to other groups, personally i just think you guys should get a handle on kpop as it is right now. there is so much you guys don't understand or know about kpop and how it works. I think it would be wise to wait a bit before checking out older kpop but that's just my thoughts.
