Fun Fact: Namjoon wrote Serendipity, there is a DEMO where you can listen to him singing it. I really love his DEMO and his deep voice singing it. However, he gave the song to Jimin because he felt his voice was more fitted/perfect for the song. And I'm happy he gave the song to Jimin because every time the song plays, I ascend from Jimin's voice. I love Serendipity, it goes triple platinum on my Spotify

My bias :) I love that he is very gentle, artistic, sensitive, loves kids/animals, but at the same time he is very masculine, athletic, knows a bunch of martial arts, hard-working, amazing friend and person. Also his eyes are beautiful. I watched Blood Sweat and tears in 2016 and decided to get to know them to find out who Jimin is. For some time he was the only member I could instantly recognize by his eyes or voice. It was sad but bearable when they went to military, Cause they went one by one and there were releases during all of that. I also had a chance to save money for their concerts. Unfortunately for me, I got a job offer in Europe during 2023-25 and they weren't out to have concerts there. I am back to my country, so I missed Europe concerts by a year.

kpop fans really thought the military was gonna be the end of bts lol so “being forgotten” was a logical fear they had, especially because in kpop it’s the norm that artists release multiple albums a year, because new groups debut every day it’s a very competitive industry and usually groups don’t last long. the fact that bts are not only surviving in the 13th year against newer groups but have also remained as the top for almost a decade now and are still gaining fans is very much a rare and unusual thing, but that’s what makes army different too

i know it’s probably hard to imagine as fans who didn’t experience the enlistment period but seeing the members go one after the other was soo heartbreaking.. when jin enlisted i cried for days every time i listened to the astronaut 😭 thank God jimin and jungkook enlisted together because if i had to see my bias and wrecker leaving on their own i wouldn’t have been able to move on lol 😭 but the boys did a great job at making us feel like they were still out and active, they prepared so much before enlisting and released things gradually while they were in the military. and then when jin and hobi got released they carried the fandom

To answer you question… I remember crying pretty hard when I heard closer than this and ofc dear. ARMY too…It was really hard watching each member leave every few months, because we couldn’t quite predict the order of which it would happen. Luckily, Jiminie did end up going into a similar unit along with JK. I wish all of them could have went in pairs or trios even but I don’t know the ends in and outs of how that works. I’m sure it could have been a last min arrangement to make sure everyone would be back in time. Jimin was my 1st bias for years before I needed up adding others and rotating and just kind of just saying I was OT7 w changing ults. :,)

Yall should watch busan yet to come concert. They knew at the time that they were going to the military but army didn't know during this concert. It's also interesting because there song choices were a big FU to the politicians who were in the crowd at the time because the government was trying to puppet them with the military service. It was also our dear jimins birthday too and him and jungkook are from busan.

So all of these songs besides serendipity are gifts Jimin made for the fans before military. He’s really such a sweet person. Love all these songs Jimin doesn’t miss and very versatile. Also definitely have to listen to the studio to hear Jungkook’s vocals. And the audio of the sea more it makes the song even more beautiful. It was a hidden track it’s only on the face album but you can find the aduio on YouTube I really wish you guys could have seen his dancing. He dances so many genres je started as a hiphop dancer. personally, I couldn’t even process that they were enlisting until some time had passed 🤣 and tbh, I think a lot of ARMYs felt the same way. ofc we felt their absence, but we still had sm content from them, and we got the solo era with so many songs, memories, and concerts, so it never felt like a huge gap 🥹 but I’ll never forget when the last members were discharged in the “public eye,” if u know what I mean 😭 V and RM, then JK and Jimin… my sister and I stayed up just to watch them come out, and we were SO nervous 😭 the livestream quality was awful, the translations were a mess, and some channels kept cutting out lmao 😭 but seeing them again was a kind of happiness I can’t describe, and then they even went live to celebrate w/ us too 💜

since 3 songs u reacted to today have their own special connection to ARMY, and some of the content was prepared before jimin enlisted 🥹💜 i thought i'd share some of what he achieved while he was away too. he ranked 1st in his basic training class, received a division commander’s commendation, was chosen to deliver the oath on behalf of his fellow trainees, earned the Special Class Warrior title, got an early promotion, and later served in the 5th Infantry Division’s artillery brigade. like JK said, he was THE ace 😭 again, happy birthday mochi!! 💜

Jungkook's mic is purple. Jin's signature color is pink, because it's his favorite color. Jimin's mic is gold. The others are Suga - black, RM - blue, V - green, j-hope - red. Though they do not use the signature colors as often now. JK used a gold mic during his Golden album era. V sometimes favors a red mic now. The ones most likely to use their signature colors still are JK, Jin and Suga.

Love serendipity! For SGMB, Closer than this, and Dear Army, they're not my fave but defnitely fun and sweet when first heard them. Don't necessarily go back to them but I still enjoy them when they randomly play on my playlist (and click on Dear Army when I see it on my feed). Some songs may not be the crowd's fave, but it's okay .. Part of getting to know them includes getting to hear both the "Yeses and Nos" <3
