I wrote this month's Patreon letter rewards today, and all the while, I wondered what I can do to improve this experience and the pledge rewards. Musical updates will be more frequent once the studio is done in 10 days or so. But what can I do to tie this whole experience together for everyone? Any ideas are super welcome! If you've been happy with how things are, please let me know. If there are other things you'd like to see, let me know, too! :D

Thanks for the update, glad the construction is almost done :) As for Patreon stuff, I'm not really sure, maybe someone else has ideas. I never heard of it before you made one so I don't know much about it :/

The Popsicle looks good :/ There will always be those wanting more from this, but the whole idea of Patreon is for us to support and help you. I'm fine with how you are doing, but in the end it has to be what you feel comfortable with. If you load yourself up so much here, then the other projects you are doing will suffer, but that is a balance you have to find. Thanks for the video Malu ;)

Thank you for the update! Glad construction is (mostly) done, hope it moved quickly, yet gets done right! I think what you're doing with the blog videos is really good! It is for me at least, it gives updates on your life if we can't watch stream regularly. I do not know what you could do with patreon, but maybe something with Music? Like, maybe have patreons come up with lyrics to a song or something. I'm just trying to come up with ideas, but it's probably really silly and stupid xD thank you again Malu!

I think what you're doing now is well enough. But if you really want to do something extra, my suggestion is to do a live chat every now and then.

I like what you're doing now, although I've probably messed up the view count as I've watched some videos more than once - you always make me smile :-) Suggestion for a post - what's your favourite music and what are you particularly listening to now? Are there some things you're always listening to, for example?

For me, the rewards are great. If you do want some extra ideas: live chat with patrons, maybe a google hangout or Q&A style videos where you answer patron questions? Oooh, good to know. I'll be sure to mention it's a video in the title so it's not a mystery! hehe! And thanks for the suggestions! I think the Patron Q&A and hangouts could be cool! :D I'll start planning for this.

Wooo! You chose nice colors for the studio :D I like darkness with the lanterns, actually. It makes a relaxing atmosphere. About Patreon stuff, I think, you do enough great videos, blogs, etc for your patrons. For many people, this platform exists only to support you. But, I really like Dr. Piet's idea about "relaxing sessions" :) P.S. Usually, but may vary at different times of the year Morning = 5:00 AM - 11:59 AM Noon (midday) = 12:00 PM Afternoon = 12:01 PM - 5:59 PM Evening = 6:00 PM - 8:59 PM Night = 9:00 PM - 4:59 AM Midnight = 12:00 AM Hehe :D

I wouldn’t worry too much about strictly having one or two kinds of content. If something random but comfortable occurs to you just once, go with it (the piano clip was genius, including the camera angle). You have better instincts than you realize, and creativity is one of the most random acts in the world. I like the vlogs just fine, and the only thing I’d say is to not feel too constricted about their subjects. Q&A is good, music videos would be good, and studio/gear talk would be good. On Twitch, your explanations of the recording process are miraculously easy for an amateur like me to follow, so if you get a video idea in that vein, go for it. Maybe something about common recording mistakes and ways to avoid them? (I honestly never thought about the trick with making different voice layers sound like different people) I'd also be curious to hear some instrumentals now and then because you have more composing skills than you admit to. I’d love to hear/see the story behind “Rise from the Dark” (apart from the fact that it’s a game tribute), but it’s not a big deal. TBH, you kind of have a lot on your plate as far as social media considering you also have a “normal” life and projects/work not related to your online buddies (I just go crazy remembering to check different email accounts!). Also, it’s not really a Patreon thing to mention, but Thor vids are always appreciated over on Youtube. ;)

I think I'd love to make more of those videos as we go along. Audio/Recording is something I could talk about for days and days and daaaays. hehe! And you're right, I'll keep following instinct and impulse for vids so that they stay random and hopefully fun. ") Rise from the Dark would be something cool to talk about. There is a side to that song that is more personal, and it would be nice to gather my thoughts on it and share it. :D And thanks for encouraging me to keep making instrumentals. I love your authentic personality, so in my opinion the Vlogs are a well placed reward. Most people don´t watch videos on Youtube if they are longer than 3 minutes or so, maybe that is the reason. Well actually I don´t feel really comfortable asking such personal stuff but in your Videos you often say we did this or we did that etc. so I wondered who is we? You and Thor?

Hi, Dennis! Thank you for saying that. I'm glad you enjoy the vlogs. Usually when I say we, it's either me and Thor, or me and Omi who is my husband. :D And sometimes if it's about the studio construction, it's me and my dad who is helping me with the room design. hehe!
