Hey guys!

I used the inside image of The Dragonborn Comes album artwork (by Ilya Salnikov) to make a new cover. Can you help me pick which you like best? The dragon version or the closer bard version?

I recently uploaded the entire remastered Dragonborn Comes album (looped 4 times) on YouTube. There have been some comments asking if I will be releasing it.

I'm not sure if I'll upload to digital platforms. I feel the difference (although I love the album being better balanced by a mastering engineer) is not enough to justify a whole new release of the exact same tracklist/album.

I feel it would split streaming numbers between track versions, and I need to see if this would end up doing more harm than good. I'm asking around.

I will be uploading it to Bandcamp in the meantime. But I need a new cover. So, which do you prefer? Dragon or bard only?

The dragon one would be cool, but it’s not easy to see the actual dragon. So I gotta go with Malu-Bard! Both look awesome!!

Honestly it will look really good either way, but I think that background art is beautiful and would love to see the full thing.

Feels like the first with the dragon as more of a story to tell so I would go with that one. Both are great though so it'a a hard pick.

I do like the additional details for teh Malu+Dragon one ... with the sword, the cloak twisted in the wind, the snowy mountains .. granted it took me a moment to see that dragon (Dragon? what Dra ... aaaah that Dragon :D).

Hmmmm... hard choice. They are both awesome but, I think I prefer the closer version a little bit more because the focus is more on you, the bard :).

I honestly can’t tell it’s a dragon and was looking for it, but I like the dragon version better because of the whole scene.. it just looks better to me, but I do like both, so would get it either way! 🤗❤️

Looks really good both ways, but yeah the dragon one also adds nice background for the epic bard

Both are really good, but I like the one with the dragon the most. Also if you choose the other I think the bottom right corner of the image needs some fixing. It sid not look good with that part of the sword handle in the corner I think. :)

I marginally like the dragon one better (leaving in more of the light blue of the sky is a good way to balance out the grays and dark colors of the rest of the scene, and I also like both the dragon and the sword). But the closer edit would still work fine because it's a nice portrait either way. Your call.

While I love the closeup, the dragon has a lot more movement. I boated for the dragon!

Malu-Bard ftw! More focus on the bard and leaving what lies beyond open to imagination. Dragon version has a lot of open space in the background, pulling the eye away from the bard, imho.
