We have the technology to go to the moon and Mars, yet we cannot figure out how to make algorithms pick flattering stills for video thumbnails... /smh

oh, and also...... make sure you don't get turned away, and sent right back home when you take your trip overseas... I can tell you, it is NOT a pleasant experience being returned at the border.... Make sure ALL you paperwork and visas and passport are in PERFECT order.... Its NOT a fun time when they are not. Trust me.

As far as I know Mexican citizens do not require a visa for EU. But definitely worth checking if you passport is not expired or expiring soon :P

Seeing you work on The bard song made me realize how much work goes into this kind of thing, so keep up the good work ^^ I am really hyped for gamescom (and reverbcon \o/) this will also be my first gamescom I attend. Luckily it is only a two hour drive for me and not a 17 hour flight maluSuspense haha XD I have never been in a plane so I cant imagine what that must be like.

This comment is just in response to the blurb, but if you combine openCV (an image processing programming library) and neural nets like Tensorflow, you could potentially make a program to pick a flattering image. That being said, then it would be up to the trained neural net's tastes as to what it picks as flattering. It could be quite entertaining to see.
