This is a big one! So big it is over 2,000! Each side is fielding massive machines and monstrosities in a 2,700 point Warhammer 40k death match. The T'au Empire have come across a tropical world that promises riches and fortune but underneath the calm waters and sun-soaked beauty lies a great threat.

Tycho Immega pilots a gorgeous Chaos army using Creature Caster miniatures.

https://creaturecaster.com/

This episode's sponsor, Creature Caster, has supplied pro painted miniatures for this battle including the yet to be released Children of Chaos (used as proxies for Plague bearers). The impressive Necromancer Dragon towers on the battlefield. Note that some of the miniatures are NSFW.

In this 40k in 40m we imagine what a kaiju battle in the Warhammer 40k universe would look like. T'au Nick has brought his biggest suits to take on Tycho's army of impressive monsters. How effective will the T'au's technologically advanced armaments be against the most sinister and vile warp powered creatures of Chaos?

40k in 40m Pacific Grimdark

In this narrative battle the T'au Empire has made an incredible discovery. A tropical planet full of resources and splendour. Not all is what it seems however. This episode is brought to you by Creature Caster who supplied all the beautiful models used as proxies for the Chaos Undivided forces.

Woohoo double dose of Tau Nick and it’s only May!

Ragow

They hype is real, was just thinking I needed something to watch tonight!

James Mccloy

Vimeo hates my ass "what video?" I SHALL ENDURE!

Prime Aesthetic

I think Nick is starting to finally learn to not split fire and kill them till they are dead ;)

Stonehorn

Ohhhh! I love Nick and I love the Tau! I also love Tycho and Creature Caster Daemon models. Amazing batrep!

Stonehorn

Nick should get into AoS, shooty armies do a lot better there! 25 years of warhammer, and my Kharadron Overlords are my favourite army across 4 GWS games. Fire and run!

Mike Poirier

Ship named "Evergreen". Nice.

Zanders Quest

This was awesome. Would of thought Nids would make for great Kaiju also. If only Tau had a few more meat shields to prevent those early charges haha

Jaan Eesti

I'm getting an error message/video not found in viemo, multiple devices.

Tyler

The explosion sounds that Nick made were my favorite part. Thank you Nick! Please keep being awesome.

Black Methos

The energy and joy Nick brings to these games is contagious! I was laughing my rear off here at some of his antics :D

Tomliginyu

This was amazing, love the sponsorship from Creature Caster. Amazing models with amazing paint jobs. Love seeing Nick being able to bring out the Literal Big Guns that he wouldn't get to do in a normal game. Fantastic Stuff guys! Can't wait for the next one. As a side note, enjoying Tombworld over on DTV. Some editor's notes: 16:47, Tycho says 2 CP, but the 1 CP re-roll pops up in the corner 22:05, Tycho uses CP Reroll, but his CP doesn't change

I want to see a rematch once the new Codexes drop, that or Knights vs Nids but still in the Kaiju vs Mechs theme

Alekto989.M41

HA! I saw that ship. Got em! Wonderful as always guys!

James

Noticed something. During Nick's intro at 1:17 it says "This effect requires GPU acceleration" on a red banner is that meant to be there?

Sami Dib

I swear every time I see Tau Nick and his big mecs I am further encouraged to start a Tau Army. I rlly hope they get a codex soon and make their mecs a little more stronger because if they do I an 100% starting them as a army. Great game and that ending split fire I mean cinematic beauty bravo!

Kryszot

Absolutely amazing battle report, thanks for it! Also the visual part of the battle is awesome, this is probably what people imagine, when they hear about wargaming! :-D

Alex Donaldson

This game was totally awesome. Love it when you guys use the tabletop to bring a story to life. Play on!

Austin Monreal

A gorgeous board for a gorgeous battle! Sad to see how sorry a state the Tau are in, but as always the energy brought to the board by this crew is a wonder to see! I love your narrative and thematic games way more than the competitive stuff you see around the web right now. Keep on keeping on, and if y'all ever decide to set up your own Crusade, know that at least this guy would be willing to throw more money behind it!

DrkShdow

Nick is entirely the reason I want to play tau so much now.

Hung Pham

I had this dumb grin on my face almost all the game through. So much joy in this battle report! Lovely models, lovely players, lovely map as well. Thank you Play-On-team :D

Lucas Keys

Looking forward to watching :) but i'm gonna offer some feedback here, too much Tau ( just picking on Tau for a bit lol but it applies to others ) and not enough Variety. I would really love to see a Drukhari player so that we can see some more variety and also other Factions so that we can see a more so honest reflection of what the competitive scene/ local meta's are right now as i feel that is lacking on the channel. As a fellow Canadian i know things are still hard right but that's what i think would be better for the future.

Dan Miner

you couldn't have picked two better players to play this game. what a great show!

Martin Koehn

I'm a simple man, I see Tau, I watch. I'd love to see the Grey Knights reappear and it would be cool for more Craftworld eldar to reappear.

Samuel Bird

When I do eventually start playing with my friend, I can only hope I have as much energy and fun as you guys do. Keep it up!

steven

I love those amazing models. Awesome battle nick and tycho.
