I wasn't looking for inspiration for a song about the war... but it found me. A couple of commentators noted that Felon47 called this debacle into Iran "a little excursion". Several times. And at least one said "a three-hour war". Well, sir! (Oh, and -- I wrote the "end credits" verses as well.)

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,A tale of old Iran,Invaded by a rogue nationThat didn't have a plan.

The mate was a drunken TV guy,The Prez, a delusional boor,Went on a little excursion,Operation Epic Fyurr-ee,A three-hour war.

The mission started getting rough,Some school kids got bombed,Then Trump said we won, but the job wasn't done,Like this was a sitcom,And not his Vietnam.

The media say our fighters are great,So they won't be called disloyal,And Donald Trump,Pete Hegseth too,Little Marco,Lindsey Graham,Khamenei's son,Bibi Netanyahu, Putin too,Fight for God, land, and oil!---Now here’s the tale of our oligarchs, Their situation’s rough,They’ll never spend the wealth they have,But it’s still not enough.

Iran closed up the Strait of Hormuz,And Donald blew his stack, Insulting everyone but the Jews,Then begging them to come back.

The drones, the flights, the mortar shells,And Tomahawks fill the skies,But Iran did not surrender,And, again, we were surprised.

So join us here each week, my friends,More countries we’ll embroil --How many innocents will be killedFor God, land, and oil?
