Hey, wanna be on “307 Lite”? (Patreon)
Content
Allo, y’all! I’m really hoping to assemble at least one album from Patreon tracks in time for DragonCon. You should get at least one song from me in the next day or so.
Meantime, I have a favor to ask.
Paul Lenoue rightly pointed out that my most recent recording of “307 Ale” sounded great in part because I got several people to send me vocal tracks of them singing the choruses. So, how about we do that again?
Simply sing along with your copy of “307 Lite”’s chorus, which - to remind you - goes like this:
Well, they might’ve got a meltdown,
Or caused the stuff to fuse.
Instead they got an alcohol
That everyone can use.
All the megatonnage of
A bomber squad in flight,
But less than half the calories,
It’s 307 Lite, lite, lite, tiddlely lite, lite, lite.
I need a .WAV file, preferably 44.1 Khz, at least 16-bit, ideally not too noisy (i.e., not much background noise). No effects on it, such as reverb. Oh, and, do it in mono — literally half the size of stereo. If you don’t understand any of this, either don’t worry about it, or ask an audio-tech-savvy friend to help.
Probably the best way to send it to me is if you have Dropbox or Google Drive, just share it with filkertom@yahoo.com. Give me a heads-up here as well, so I know who’s sending something.
Deadline is August 1.
Thanks so much, gang!
