One of my favorite albums is Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell. I have owned it in every available format, including 8-track (and I still remember when the ka-CHUNKs are). And this particular song is one I've always wanted to record. We're talking literally for forty-four years. I'm not the one to judge if I did a good version -- and, at some point, I may revisit it, to put the original dialogue in front, and to come up with a backing track that isn't just a nicked karaoke. But I did it, and I like it, and scratching an itch after nearly half a century can be pretty damn satisfying.
