I should have the "Cover of the Necronomicon" song up by tomorrow. Meantime, a quick question: Besides whatever new stuff I'm working on -- at least four political songs, one epic fantasy, and the true story of what happened between Hawkeye and Black Widow in Budapest -- would you all mind if I recorded a few things all the way back from "Tom Smith's Big Book Of Stupid Filk Tricks" that never got a formal studio version? Songs like "Brundle Love", "Pinky-Hontas", a real studio version of "Callisto" with the extra verse, that kinda thing. Just asking, really.

I don't have a problem with that. I am generally less a fan of political songs but your work is at a level that would rather you follow your muse and I will just listen to other songs more then the political ones.

My kingdom for Callisto!

Perhaps a strange question, do you have a page with chords and lyrics for your songs? I would love to be able to play I had a Shoggoth on my ukulele. :-)

Chip Brazell

Callisto! Oh yeah, I'd go for that. As well as pretty much any of your songs.

Wild Card

Go for it!! Nothing wrong with older stuff that doesn't have studio recordings

Ixias

Sounds good to me!

William McKissack

Go for it - we are your supporters - do what you need to do

Nathan Sterrett

Callisto! Thank you for coming to Marcon.

You have to ask if we want more Tom Songs? How many times do we have to yell "YES!" before it sinks in?

Adam Goss

Yes. 'Nuff said!

Quentin Long

What everybody else said. Yeah, I wanna hear more TS!

Tom Smith

Well, that seems to settle that. :) By very popular demand, first on the list is "Callisto", to be followed by "Brundle Love".
