Update to Existing Chapters (Patreon)

Hi, folks.

I rewrote Ariadne's scene from way back in Chapter 4. I'm re-releasing all the chapters that have been released for Book 5 so far, so that you can have a fully updated copy in one file.

I wasn't happy with the old version of that scene, and I came up with a better idea for it, so here it is. If you're reading the PDF version, it starts on page 68. If you're reading the HTML version, search for the text "Ariadne held up her small hand mirror".

There are also a number of other small wording changes throughout the chapters, but no other real changes to the content--except in Razai's scene, which is right after Ariadne's scene, I've now made it clear that Razai has actually been to the keep in the past, before the dragon came. That doesn't really change the story in any way, but it wasn't mentioned in the previous version of the scene so I wanted to fix that.

There's no charge for this post since you've already received these chapters.

I'm making good progress on chapters 9 to 11, and I hope to release them before the end of the month.
