** MOD DESCRIPTION HERE **

- (this is due to EA) if you change pronouns through my interactions, the change will not reflect on buffs (moodlets) until the next time there's a loading screen. They'll reflect right away on other stuff.

- Sims who are canonically non-cis/het might not be given the right identity by the auto-assign (example: Morgyn Ember.)Fix it up manually if it came out wrong.Pre-existing couples get assigned orientations based on their relationships, so that shouldn't be as bad in terms of 'wrong assigns'.

For some of them, I could give them a fixed auto-assign (Morgyn again haha), but I'd need to know exactly their identity etc for that, and it's not officially said anywhere.

- For anything else, see mod description.

****** PURE COMPATIBILITY QUESTIONS:

- Mc WooHoo's "No Strings WooHoo" / "Allow Friendlier WooHoo Partners setting is Incompatible. Note that this mod comes with its own setting that amounts to the same thing. DISABLE that MCCC Setting.

- No other known mods with compatibility problems / adjustments!

***** QUESTIONS OF INTEGRATION:

- Turbodriver's mods will recognize sexual orientations from this mod in their sexual attraction systems. However, note that his mods look only at CAS gender, and not gender identities from my mod. And, romantic orientations will not be looked at by his mods - their system having to do with sexual attraction.

I don't suppose there's a reason top surgery made my sim shorter and shrunk his chin? It's easily fixable in CAS but still, extremely weird

Update: Upon exiting CAS, I found that all my moodlets and sim's icon in the bottom corner had broken. This only fixed after removing the mod, loading the game, then closing and readding it. This was the only mod I removed to fix the problem.

And for some reason when I readded it, the only settings that didn't save were who he was out to and everyone's gender identity?? Literally everyone is questioning their identity now, which is a lot. Like I mean, get it I guess, but still. All their orientations saved, and I didn't change any settings.

For some reason when I apply the LGBTQIA+ Hangout lot trait to a bar my notification wall gets spammed with the special nights schedule every now and then and the same thing happens when the special night is going on. It's not that big of a problem and I'm not too bothered by it but I thought I should let you know.

Hi, my guess is other sims from the played household are joining the outing and causing it to appear, and / or your played sim is hovering on the lot boundaries and basically considered to be leaving / coming back / etc, re trigerring it. Any of that sound possible? 🤔

That second option is definitely it. I'm remodeling all the lots in the worlds I have and taking pictures of them but the bar I made I wanted to get a picture of it at night so I was on triple speed with my sim going back and forth within the lot boundaries. Thank you!

Yet, despite being romance/sex-favorable, many romance/woohoo options are greyed out, and romantic/woohoo actions attempted by others are always rejected by them. What's the point of the -favorable options if they're going to behave as if they're -averse?

Hi, Rejection should be a 10% when asked in that case. Once refused, while the refusal moodlet is active rejection is systematic, so of course one must wait till the rejection moodlet is gone. At any point barring that case, they can also offer it themselves which does not come with any refusal etc. Refusal in this mod always shows a notification explaining why. If no notice, the refusal is not from this mod. So that's an important thing to check :) Aro in this mod accepts romance only in qpr situations atm so that is another thing to keep in mind. That's sth I'll probably change onwards. As for grey out feel free to turn if off in settings. Albeit more developed than the game's own grey out system, it can still struggle with cases like this one. If refusal is constantly systematic, I'd try with no other mods in and report back

I ended up having to set my sim as pansexual and panromantic because I couldn't get around the rejection without changing universal settings. I want orientations to impact gameplay, but I'm disappointed with how little selecting "favorable" actually does. When my sim is set as a romance/sex-favorable aroace, they reject their wife because "this sim does not meet their attraction requirements" (paraphrased), despite the "favorable" setting. It sucks, because this sim is supposed to represent me (I'm aroace and in a romantic relationship irl). It sounds like my sims will have to divorce and become queerplatonic partners in order to interact romantically, which makes the "favorable" setting pointless. My sim should have romantic and sexual freedom by default with the "favorable" setting. It doesn't make sense for them to reject sims on the basis of a lack of attraction, when attraction isn't meant to dictate their favorability in the first place.

Hi, are you talking about WW stuff or game stuff? WW has its own refusal systems. This seems to confuse a lot of people, so, I need to know that to know the answer :) But basically WW sex requires compatibility in romance and in sex and that's all on WW's side not mine. For aro in my mod and for the game, I actually re checked it at patch day, it should accept fine almost all the time if they're favorable, regardless of what type of relationship is established

I guess it might be Wonderful Whims then, but that's odd, because I never had this issue with WW prior to downloading this LGBTQIA+ mod. I'll try without WW.

When I say WW I mean wicked whims not wonderful whims. But trying with no other mods would still be instructive to see if there are conflicts. And also telling me exactly what interactions are used and exactly what pop up happens. Separately for Woohoo and for romance stuff. Thanks.

It's still an issue without other mods. "[Sim 1] is not interested in romance with [Sim 2] due to being aromantic" and "[Sim 1] is not interested in WooHoo with [Sim 2] due to non-compatible sexual orientations" both continue to show up despite my sim being romance-favorable and woohoo-favorable. They won't stop rejecting advances from their wife.

It seems like selecting "asexual woohoo-favorable" just makes the sim's sexual orientation mimic whatever gender they're romantically attracted to. If they're romantically attracted to women, they're okay with sex with women. If they're romantically attracted to men, they're okay with sex with men. If they're biromantic or panromantic, they're okay with sex with any gender. If they're aromantic, they're not okay with sex with anyone, even if they're woohoo-favorable. Selecting "aromantic romance-favorable" does the same thing in reverse. If they're sexually attracted to women, they're okay with romance with women. If they're sexually attracted to men, they're okay with romance with men. If they're bisexual or pansexual, they're okay with romance with any gender. If they're asexual, they're not okay with romance with anyone, even if they're romance-favorable. I think this is where the problem stems from.

Hi, this is actually a WW thing and not my mod :) My mod sets the cas gender orientation for Sims. WW reads that, and requires that Sims have matching romantic and sexual orientation to allow sex. Asexual in the game and therefore in WW is considered non matching. Same for aro. In my mod, it is matching. My mod will let Sims Woohoo so long as their sexual orientation matches. I hope that makes sense!

I already said that I removed WW, and it's still a problem. It says that asexual woohoo-favorable is incompatible for woohoo, and also says that aromantic romance-favorable is incompatible for romance.

I ask that you please playtest this. Set two sims as a married couple, make Sim 1 aroace and romance/woohoo-favorable, and make Sim 2 perform romantic and sexual advances on them. Even when the advances *do* succeed, there is a notification stating that they're incompatible.

Hi again, just several more of your messages that hadn't gone through. The Patreon app eats up comments, sorry for the mess and illogical responses. This mod has been playtested at great length by me and testers already and we've not had such issues that I can recall. I have a Woohoo favorable demiromantic ace couple in game and all has been working for them as usual. However they are not aro so that's a bit different. I see now that you said you tried with no other mods in at all. If such is the case, we can rule out interference. Here's the next idea: it's best to test separately also for ace + alloro, aro + allo sexual, and then aro ace to pinpoint exactly where things don't behave as expected for your sims. That gives me critical data to check up both in game and in code. Thanks. (side note I am going to bed so I'm not looking at things until day again, so don't worry about delays :))

I love this mod so much! It's added a lot more depth to my gameplay. I just got my first genderfluid sim though and am having some issues with the genderfluid-specific features. I think the idea is great, especially with the changing pronouns and outfits option. Once my sim had the trait, they started out "NB-leaning" (gender-neutral outfit and they/them pronouns) and everything was going smoothly. While they slept I got an alert that their fluid identity had shifted to "fem-leaning" and they went about their next day using she/her and wearing the fem outfits. This was all going great until I noticed they hadn't shifted in a few days and I was still curious. There's an option to manually select the identity the sim is leaning toward so I used that and input "2" for masc and nothing happened. There wasn't a notification and the pronouns and outfit didn't change. The manual selection option always displays a "now" message for the way the sim is currently leaning and it did say masc, but that was the only difference I noticed. I switched it manually to NB-leaning and the result was the same. When I switched it back to fem-leaning, it gave me the alert that the pronouns and expression had "changed". Is there a way I can get it to work normally and auto-switch to any identity and not just fem? This sim is afab so maybe that has something to do with it? I'm not sure; any help is appreciated :)

Hi, It can normally switch to any, it just doesn't always switch, it can take a day or several or not change for longer then change. Not sure I totally get what you are saying about the manual change but I'll check it up when I have some time

2026-09-21 21:00 hey I have a question!! i am planning a lets play where one of my sims is rejected by their phobic sister. unfortunately I accidently had him come out before I toggled the "allow negative interactions" switch in the settings menu, so when he came out, she was fully supportive, which completely conflicts with the storyline I was going for. i can't seem to reverse it and have him come out again, what can I do?

Hi there! So I just downloaded the new version of this mod, but now my Meet and Mingle mod doesn't work at all. I tried doing what you said and deleting the global settings thing out of my saves, but all that did was delete all the orientation and identity settings I had for all my Sims. 😅

Hi, you can get your setting file back from your computer bin if you want. That file however doesn't contain your sim's orientations, it contains only the mod settings, and its deletion cannot remove anything loaded on your sims :) only thing that can do that is saving without the mod installed. Meet&Mingle isn't available in the Lgbtqia Mod anymore because it has been Expanded and improved and became its own mod in the RPO collection

Hi there, So I have a stupid question. My teen sims are no longer getting the lgbtqia pie menu option. Is this a change? or a bug, or am I just imagining that they had this option? O.O''. I did remove the 'localthumbcache' in my sims folder, and I removed the old mod and updated it with the new. but it didn't help. Thank you for your time :)

If you don't see it for a specific sim, re do their assignments with the 'quick assignments' menu and it should un glitch itself

I love this mod, but I have noticed a small issue. When my female sim transitions to male, I'm not able to modify the sim's body anymore. I can change clothes with no issue, but after making changes to the sim's body (change shoulder size etc...) in CAS it just reverts back in live mode. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi, never heard of anything like this, so you should next test it again with all mods and cc out of the game except this one (don't save the game during that test!!!!) and let me know the result :)

I've just retried it with both no mods and cc, and with everything else as usual and I'm not seeing the issue anymore. Still have the issue with the sim that I originally saw the issue with but I guess I'll just replace them instead. Anyway, thanks for the advice, these mods are honestly the lifeblood of my games now.

I absolutely love this mod! Just one small problem I've been experiencing with it. When a sim gets an unexpected crush, they're unable to reconsider their orientation even if their friendship bar with the sim they're crushing on is all the way maxed out. Do you know if it might be a potential conflict with another one of my mods, or if its a problem with this one itself?

Thank you so much for this amazing mod ! Its exactly what i needed I love it. I have a, maybe stupid, question, sorry! I enabled all of the automatic settings and i want to know if it only sorty the traits automatic to all sims or if there is a time where it sorts it new every few days7week? Because i enabled it and will now check on all my hoseholds what it gave to the sims and will change it manually for some sims. and i dont want it to change for this one but i want it to manually give them when family members grew up to teenagers or if the game generates new sims. sorry for the bad english btw

It does it individually per sim. Every time a sim appears for the first time or ages to teen, they will go through it. If you manually assign stuff to a sim, auto assigns will not change that

Love this mod; would just like to suggest when Sim has realization, perhaps a rabbit hole or phone/pc option to get 'counseling' or go to a 'support group' to help work it out.

one thing i've had with this is my Sim after bottom surgery still has a penis. In CAS she doesnt but in game she does. Not sure if theres a fix for that?

How do I give my sim the option for reassignment surgery? it's just showing to opt for non medical transition like speech therapy and walk classes. on a premade sim they have the bottom and top surgery traits but im confused on how to gain them.

Give an identity to your Sim and make sure they're not in a dorm. Appartements miiiight be an issue too

My sim who is male has his orientation set to being able to be romantically and sexually attracted to males. Thing is he still flirts, is romantic and woohoos with women. Have I missed something in the settings?

Thank you for all the mods you create. I don't think I would be playing The Sims 4 if it wasn't for your mods and those of other creators. I have a question / feature request regarding the LGBTQIA+ mod. I play the game on long lifespan and I was wondering if it would be possible to make the gender-affirming options (like the hormone replacement therapy and voice therapy) take longer? It would be great if the player could set the length, like the pregnancy length in MC Command Center, but making the options take, for example, twice as long when playing on a long lifespan would be great as well. I have no idea how hard it would be to make a change like this, but I hope you can take a look if it is something you can and want to do.

Hi! This mod is awesome. I'm using it for the first time with a trans masc sim. They've gotten to the third stage for HRT (saying they can grow body and facial hair). Their body hair is coming in fine, but I can't seem to find where I would manipulate/change/select for facial hair. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you ~~

I don't know anything about modding and have no idea how difficult it might be, but would it be possible that trans teen sims would need to ask for their parents permission before going on HRT or doing gender-affirming surgery and if they say no you get options to convince them and until then you can't do it? I just feel like that would make the gameplay more realistic :3

Hi, I don't know if it is an intended feature or a bug, but I've changed the settings to auto-assign identities and orientation for everyone, and I've noticed that those who were assigned to be trans had already changed names and bodies. I would have liked to do it through gameplay so I was wondering if it's possible to modify this?

Hi, I understand your point of view. Here is the logic of the mod: if a sim gets auto assigned identities, they can get auto assigned having done some choices in accordance with that, to simulate their life. An Elder probably already changed their name and such, for example. Younger Sims have fewer chances of getting stuff like that auto assigned and for any played sim, you can turn off auto assign for played Sims for example. It would not be realistic to assign identities to sims in the world but none of them has made any life choice to feel in accordance with their true self, wouldn't it? I understand it can be inconvenient if you want to play all these sims but in that case I recommend turning off auto assign for played Sims at least

Thank you for your answer (and for your amazing mods too btw!) I totally get your logic for elders and adults, the thing is it happened in my game on a sim who just became a teen and they already had their name and their body frame changed. I didn’t mind the name, but the body was surprising. I guess I’ll follow your advice, I won’t be lazy and remove the auto-assign on the played sims 😅

Hi, I tried posting this to your discord but I'm blocked for some reason (I just subscribed to you here). I'm noticing that when I go into settings for this mod and put "0" for the % of NPC sims set to aromantic and asexual, then *all* of the NPC sims become aromantic and asexual. Is that because you haven't allowed for it to be set to 0? Or because I'm misinterpreting the meaning of the setting? Or maybe there's a mod conflict or something?

Hi, you might have missed the rules channel on the discord, where you need to click a reaction to be able to post. As for your issue, no that would not be a deliberate thing; I don't see a cause in the code either. We'd have to check with no other mods and in a new save to be sure we're narrowing things down

Sorry for the late reply. Understood. I'll see if I can't debug it one of these days. For the time being I'm just manually resetting all NPC sims when they first appear in game. It's a bit tedious but it gets the job done and is quicker than debugging lol....

Hey, not wanting to disturb too long. I just wanted to mention an observation I've had with the Mod. Ever since the latest patch update to the game last week my sims despite being compatible before the patch will no longer allow their romantic partner any form of kissing after said patch. Removed the Mod to make sure if it was it causing this issue and it went away when removed from the Mod Folder. Just thought to mention it just in case. Wish you a continuing good week in the meantime. 😊

Hi! Nobody else has reported anything like that so, I'd recommend checking with several Sims, and while no other mods are installed

I am also having this issue, specifically with non-binary sims (binary gendered sims seem okay for now). Removed every other mod but this one and the problem persisted. I tried changing the partner's orientation, but nothing I did made it work for me.

hi, I am having some problems with assigning the gender and orientation. When I click on my sim the gender and orientation does not show up on the wheel for me to select so I assign. It shows up in my old saves but I am making a new one and it will not show up. I have taken the mod out and put it back in even tried to make another new save but it still does not show.

I've actually noticed that too when making a new save to troubleshoot the mod with my kissing issue. The game says it's in the mod folder and therefore in the game but once I get to the sims in game it's not available to interact with in the wheel options. Managed to somehow gain access to it once thought "testcheating on" and shift click during one out of 8 restarts of the game but that might have been a fluk because I could not do it again after restarting the game? Been very confusing. And just like you with the old saves it was accessible with no issues.

Hi, you will be able to choose in most cases, usually only Sims with the 'phobic' trait will just default to being negative

I'm not sure if something broke with the Oct. 2, patch, but my sims will no longer woohoo with each other. I've taken all my mods out and narrowed it down to an issue with the LGBTQIA mod. I first replaced MCC and tested out. The woohoo interaction worked just fine. Then I put the LGBTQIA mod back in and ran into issues. I'm getting 'This sim is not interested in Woohoo due to not interested in woohoo with women' when my lesbian sim tries to Woohoo with her spouse. I'm also getting this with my heterosexual couples. Right now, the only mods I have in my game are MCC and the LGBTQIA mods. I don't know if anyone else has run into this or if it's just my rotten luck. I do have the 2.3v of the LGBTQIA mod installed. I double and tripled checked that just to be sure.

I've been having an issue like this, but only with newer saves. With sims I've been playing a while it still shows up on the wheel, but on sims started just recently it doesn't appear. Perhaps there's an issue with the newest patch? Edit: I found a workaround, but it's labor intensive and only works if you have an old save. Go to an old save that works, 'save as' under a new name, and alter existing sims to be the new one you want using the fulledit cheat code.

Hi, I'd recommend to Chek your installation and that you have scripts turned on and the script is not too deep, as it kind of sounds like it isn't installed in a way that lets it run 🤔

Hello, would it be possible to add a notification if a Sim my Sim knows makes some orientation/identity change, or an autonomous 'Tell About Identity and Orientation' targeted to my Sim? My Sim was FWB with a female Sim and when I went to invite them over they'd changed their name and pronouns. I loaded into their house to do some gender-affirming stuff for them but I was just confused because their name had changed lol

Hi, Sims only get stuff auto assigned at their first appearing in the world. They wouldn't change their name autonomously after that because they're part of the pool of Sims you might be playing or involved with. So I suspect something else might have changed the name 🤔

Hello Lumpinou, I have a bug where my male sim attracted to feminine sims has romance options still pop up for his friend in game when in settings I have the option checked: "Grey out interactions if other speaker doesn't fit Speaker's Orientation" plz help. Hey I think I fixed the issue the problem was the setting "gender compatibility" was checked for LGBTQ mod "gender identity" not "cas gender" and no sims had any identities only pronouns so they were the maxis default bisexual. But my sim had masc. identity fem. preference but the romance options greyed out only when I clicked the option to randomize unplayed / played sims in world...

I had the same issue as Nectotic Witchery with my sims. I tested with no other mods and it kept happening. Kept getting the "not interested in a sim they aren't romantically compatible with" pop up no matter what I did (I went as far as testing to make them both pan and no dice). I ended up having to uninstall the mod and you know how much I love this one so that was painful. I am happy to send you a save file for you to review; let me know.

Hi Lumpinou, I am having an issue when my sims woohoo their traits changes to celibate, asexual, and graysexual and throws an LE. These are not their assigned traits. I have mccc friendlier woohoo disabled and I have the updated RPO and LGBTQ mods installed. I removed the settings file, cleared my caches and the issue persists. I am stumped.

Hello! I wanted to ask, is there any way to limit unexpected crushes by the age of the sims involved? My teen sim got an unexpected crush on an elder 😭 I really loved that one of my active sims got a random unexpected crush, but the age difference was just way too creepy to let it happen! I read the mod description page and looked through the settings, but I didn't see anything about age (although I might have missed it--if that's the case, sorry for the unnecessary question!).

Ah, I think I realize the problem, then! I have MCCC, and I have the settings to allow romance between teens and young adults (because it's really annoying when one teen ages up a few days early and suddenly can't romance their BF/GF). I didn't realize it would impact this mod, because for some reason I thought the crushes would only happen with sims the same age (i.e. young adult with young adult, and so on!), and my teen only introduced himself to the elder so I didn't think of that! I'll turn off the setting in MCCC for now, but is there any chance you might put an age setting in at some point? It would be kind of weird for young adults to develop crushes on elders, too. :'D

Hi, in our experience, this is due to CCs - changing the Sim's frame in and off itself (which the hrt does) is not a source for problems

I had a sim with an unexpected crush. They confessed to their crush (and it was accepted). When I went to the romance interactions, there weren't any, not even grayed out. I feel I may have messed up a setting somewhere, and I can't figure out which one(s). Any ideas as to which setting(s) it could be? Maybe I am missing an additional mod I overlooked? When I manually change their orientation to be compatible with the crush, the interactions appear again. I also have RPO and WW installed, and I do not have MCCC Woohoo installed. For packs, I have all major except the new Enchanted pack.

hi! i love this mod but the wording in settings has been confusing me, so i'd love some clarification. do my played sims need to have auto assign on for self discovery to happen? i hadn't encountered it yet when i had auto assign off for played sims, so i tried turning auto assign on and had one of my children age up and immidiately get the genderfluid trait with no discovery prompts. i'm not sure if i'm just misintepreting the settings amgmekg.

Hi, your sim had an auto assign happen then! Self discovery is a separate setting. Auto assign doesn't necessarily play into it, ie, if a sim was auto assigned straight they could still find they're bi or gay, if a sim was auto assigned gay they might find they're bi, etc. Same as if assigned nothing

2026-09-21 21:00 hello ! this mod is awesome and i love all your work, thank you for making all your mods! i have a question apologies if it's been answered but i couldn't find a direct answer for it; when looking at my sim's hidden traits, it has the 'identity/orientation not allowed to change' and 'ran discovery chances.' however, in another save, a sim that had those hidden traits still later discovered they're aroace, so i'm not sure if i have something wrong in my settings? i have all auto related settings on since i enjoy my sims just going with the flow, but sometimes the first sim i make i want set in their gender and orientation so i manually pick them through the mod pie menu, so i'm not sure what causes a discovery to still happen. sorry if this is convoluted, i just wanted to know if i can allow played sims to still self discover and be auto assigned identities while one specific played sim doesn't? no problem if it's not do-able :)

Hi, yes, the 'not allowed to change' serves to mark that, regarding what occurred with that particular sim I can't say - in your settings did you set it to still allow even when that's on? I believe there's a setting of that sort

Lgbtqia has a big with EA's attraction but tb t only makes 'unknown' show on Sims who wouldn't have any attraction, as far as I recall - anyways the test above should provide more info

Feature idea: the first time I tried to customize the auto-assignment percentages, I didn't see that the numbers have to be integers. I set some of them to 7.5, and I didn't notice what was wrong until I checked the MCCC exception log a couple of days later. How much effort would it be to give an error message when I save a setting if I'm setting it to an invalid value?

Hey love this mod but I am experiencing an issue in gameplay and I am hoping it is just a setting that I have not set correctly or possibly missed. When I have my male sim transition all is fine until they get top surgery. At this point in attractions and other interactions in the game he is recognized as a female. Hopefully you can tell me its just a setting and how to fix this please?

Hi you are correct it's due to them getting their assignments after showing up. Unfortunately I can't do much about that. I used to have my own dating app system that force conformed Sims but this forced conforming caused issues in people's games who are playing on computers low in performance. So my recommendation is to use the menus to check the Sim's orientations and if need be make re assignments

Hey boo ☺️ I love this mod. So when my trans sims went to get plastic surgery, the changes I made in cas do not appear in game. I tried to give my transwoman a more voluptuous shape and it reverts to the slim figure with no curves. Same with my transman; tried to make them more muscular and wide in cas but in game he is slim. Is that something I can fix in the settings or is that just how it is?

SimPronounSubjective identifies as Woohoo-averse asexual. 2. SimPronounSubjective identifies as Woohoo-indifferent asexual. 3. SimPronounSubjective identifies as Woohoo-favorable asexual. 4. SimPronounSubjective identifies as greysexual. and the fifth last one said : SimFirstName chooses to remain celibate and therefore is not interested in Woohoo. I'll add that it happens in three different occasions with three different couples but after the same situation (woohooing in the rabbithole motel). I don't know if that would help you.

hello ! i have a sim that is FTM but the custom presets do not stick. is there any way to stop my sim from defaulting back to the EA presets after using custom ones ??

Heyy !! So my ftm originally had on a custom body and lip preset, after using the interactions (start hrt, get top / bottom surgery) and the waiting time had finished I wanted to give my sim a slight makeover now that his transition was complete! However any custom body or lip preset I use keeps reverting back to ea’s base game presets. I can go into cas multiple times to “fix” it but as soon as I enter live mode it always reverts back. I’m not sure why it keeps happening This also happens with any sliders I use for example height sliders. It resets him back to the ea default height I’m still unsure why but I gave up with this issue and just made a fully masculine version of the sim for the time being

Hi again, normally you're not supposed to change the orientation or need to. However if you use WW this would make sense, as per previous user tests, WW is not able to recognize unexpected crush and impacts this kind of interaction availability

Hi Jorge! If you still need help with this, click on a Sim's PC in your game, click on MCCC, then MC Woohoo, then Woohoo Activities and then No Strings Woohoo. You can disable the setting in there. :-)

Quick question. I tried this mod when it first came out but removed it from my game because it had my already married sims or sims already in relationships refusing romantic interactions with each other due to incompatibility. It says this version takes already married or partnered sims relationships into consideration when auto applying. Was this not in the previous version or did I do something wrong last time? I have downloaded the new version and am about to put it into my mod folder.

It should have been doing that since v1. But if your sims had no assignments at all, the situation might have been different. There were fixes early on about things misbehaving when Sims had no assigns. So maybe that's what you needed. Let me know. You can always re do assignments if they're wrong. For me I've never had an issue of them being wrong

And, for future reference, if something seems to not be working right, the best thing to do if y'all can spare a minute is to tell me, not just remove the mod haha, otherwise I don't know that there's an issue and it can't be fixed! I generally fix issues very fast once aware of them, unless they're a very complicated case, but that's very rare.

Hi Lumpinou, First off, I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful mod. I know the sims community is filled with LGBTQIA+ simmers and it's wonderful to be able to reflect that more accurately in our own games. I wanted to ask if you had ever thought about creating a "gay hotspot" lot trait or even just a general "LGBTQIA+ hotspot" lot trait that I could apply to a lot that would prompt primarily LGBTQIA sims to spawn. I've been trying to create a world that generally reflects real life, so my LGBTQIA sims are generally about 10% of my total townie population. This sometimes makes it difficult for my sims to find a partner or even just a simple hookup without just wildly asking everyone their orientation. I'd love if, just like real life, I could make my own gay bars or nightclubs where sims could meet likeminded folk. There was another LGBT mod I think that was missing a lot of your features, but this is one thing they did well and that I think would be a good addition. Thanks again, Zach

Hi, Yes there will be lot traits, but first, so that the lot traits are more interesting, I would prefer to flesh out more socials between Sims who are various 'degrees' of being out or not, Sims who have various experiences to share, etc etc so that it all makes more sense. I would also like to have some sort of dating app thing to find Sims specifically matched :) Anyways, this mod is still being developed in every direction so, it just takes time and work haha. Right now it's the turn of the unexpected crushes to get more developped. One thing at a time we'll get there. But who knows maybe I'll throw some hyper simple lot traits to begin with and expand later.

The choice of 'out' will come up when assigning identity / orientation. So you are left with just adding 'queer'. And no not really. I've been thinking of making yjr window repeat itself though, like the settings one.

So I have been playing with this and noticed two sims so far that are listed as transgender. They have masculine body, masculine clothing type, pee standing up and can get women pregnant. But they have breasts. So im not sure if its that they should be using a female clothing type or if they shouldn't be able to get people pregnant. Is it possible for the mod to do checks like that when it gives someone the transgender trait? But over all I love this mod. The auto assign systems decides to auto assign some transition steps to some Sims who are auto assigned trans. Not all of them will have had any change, some will have had some changes, some will have had all changes. This is to represent all sorts of realities. It is up to you to continue an auto assigned Sim's transition in gameplay if you wish, or decide that they are where they want to be already. Sounds like the sim in the example above is born assigned male and went and had top surgery. Those who've had top surgery will have had chest changes. Those who've changed name will have a name fitting their non-birth gender. Same with pronouns, impregnatability, pee standing or sitting, etc etc. You can see in the trait panel or in 'view orientation and identiti' if they've had any surgeries, done hormones, or not. As for outfit preference I used to auto switch it systematically but decided to integrate it to the auto assign systems differently, so that some trans Sims can be 100% pre transition / 100% closeted, etc. At the moment the outfit pref does not quite well sync up with the other changes however, but that will be different in the next release as it's stuff I've already changed. Sims who are manually assigned 'trans' don't get any auto assign of transition steps because if you are doing manual assigns, it is expected that you intend to have control about this specific sim, and play them and play their transition in gameplay if that is what is wanted. There is however a shift+click menu and various cheats under the cheat / 'make assignments for' side of the mod to fix up a sim to whatever may be needed.

I mean was thinking about this being the option but unless you go to some shady place, no one would perform the top or bottom surgery unless you were already living that gender. So clothing should be the first step in the transition. I guess it only bugs me. Ill just manually correct what I need to next time.

I've been playing a legacy challenge recently, but still rotationally checking in on my spares' families and my twins aged to teens just now and turns out one is a trans man [they/them] (not to mention t4t! a lovely addition) and the other a trans woman [she/her] and it was such a pleasant surprise as a trans man myself seeing their new names and having them come out to their extended family; i really was on the verge of tears tbh. Settings can be changed in game. But, for some updates, removing the existing setting file (or, if you prefer, manually editing it) is required. If you are updating from a version older than v1. 3 to v1. 3+, either delete your globalsettings file from this mod or manually edit the file, instructions are on my website. It is recommended to just delete the file and re do settings in game if you aren't tech savvy. For more info you can check out the mod description page

As I mentioned in an another post, I'm new to the mod. So far, I love everything and I thank you for sharing your talent. I wondered if it would be possible to add some hot spot lot traits for specific orientations; Gay men, Lesbians, Transgender, etc. It would be so great if it were easier to find like sims. I admit I don't fully understand the "special nights" as described for the current lot trait but I would prefer if I could designate certain lots for certain orientations / identities. For example, I added the LGBTQIA trait to a bar lot. It's a Tuesday night in game. There are only four sims present aside from my sim and the bartender. I've assigned Gay and Lesbian traits to numerous sims, so I'd like them to show up at a lot designed for them, not just on certain nights.

Hi, I think that it would be too exclusive to do it that way, like, it would allow for completely excluding certain elements of the community. I don't want to possibly enable ace phobia, transphobia, etc, through such systems, so I decided to not take risks and not make separate lot traits. This is why the compromise was that I made the 'special nights'. The 'gay' and 'lesbian' trait are deliberately looked at by nothing in this mod, they are cosmetic only as written in their description in game and on the description page. They are an extra way for Sims to identify, but they do not count as an origientation. For example, a amab sim is attracted to men romantically and sexually, that is their orientation. But maybe they don't identify as gay. Even a sim who identifies as male and is into men might not identity as 'gay' for whatever reason but might prefer other terms. So, I keep orientation and label separate in this regard. What is looked at is the Sim's orientations / identity (attracted to - - - -, etc). So, you'd need to assign the Sims some orientations and Identities to see them show up. Once there are a lot of diverse Sims in your world, it will be a lot easier for the bar to fill up. You can have auto assign on for npc's if you so wish, or do assigns manually. Of course some Sims will also be auto generated for the bar and that purpose only

I understand your decision to treat the lot trait this way. However, I would argue that people who want to justify and perpetuate their phobias will find a way to do so no matter what you do. Also, those who want to pretend that homosexuality, transgender and gender non-conformity don't exist likely aren't using this mod anyway. For my gameplay, I'd like to see all inclusive hangouts as well as those that cater to specific orientations and identities. Having one night a week in a game in which time can be so precious is a bit frustrating. Ultimately, it's not about exclusion for me. It's about giving sims, who have discovered their orientation and/or identity, a safe place to more easily find their potential mate. So I do hope you will reconsider. Whatever the case, thank you very much for your efforts with this mod. <3

That is all true, but my work will get judged on what intentions it might be read as, and even though the intent is not at all exclusion, people in the community could read it that way. This is often the problem. Intent and how people will deduce intent from things regardless of the actual original intent. I might make the lot traits, I'd have to wrap them in a lot of disclaimers but it may be ok.

You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time. It is your mod and you have to do what you feel is right. Im getting errors from this mod today. Do I need to remove it from the mod folder or is it ignorable? Heres the error (wont attach the entire thing but heres the important bits). It's due to a pack test, it is ignorable and will happen when shift clicking Sims, if you re download it won't happen as I fixed it two days ago. I am working on v2 which will come out soon hopefully so, it's up to you!

If a sim has 'ace' assigned, they already know they are ace, as far as the system is concerned. The discoveries are for Sims who have something that is not what would be discovered, ie Sims who think they like only one gender might find out they like more, Sims who think they're allo because they're not really aware of what is what might find they're not, etc.

Hi! love this mod so much it adds so much to gameplay and is so fun to play with! quick question though I have a sim that is queer and has the added trait of "in the closet" but I can't seem to find how to they can come out am I missing something? I have the option for the sim to tell others about there orientation and identity but it doesn't change the in the closet trait or give any moodlets or pop ups. Im a bit confused haha.

I'm not clear what the settings file is relevant to- individual assigns, global settings, both. It seems with each update we have to delete the settings file and I'm not clear what I have to redo. Thank you for this update. Hope your hands are getting better!

It's the settings, not Sim's assignments. Because this mod has been undergoing heavy core changes between each update, the settings keep changing in ways that make the settings file of previous versions obsolete. That is why it must be deleted. A new one will generate with default settings. Normally, this would not be necessary as often or at all, but like I said, this mod has been undergoing constant heavy transformation. Assignments are untouched by that process of resetting settings.

Hey, I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I'm not getting a notification when my sims ask other sims what their opinion is, what orientation is, or even what their pronouns are. I've re-downloaded the mod, I even took all my mods out except for this one. I also look at all my settings and can't figure out what is wrong. Please help.

Weird 🤔 Is your game up to date? Did you make sure the script file is no deeper than one subfolder in, and that script mods are still activated? Did you make sure your settings file for this mod is fine? (nothing in double, no weird spaces, etc) (if you don't know how to do that, you can send it to me or simply delete it)

I assume your sim has full orientation assignments? Let me know all of it so I can be sure. Those other sims he's flirting with, do they have any assignments (identity is what I need to know here mostly), and what do you have for the first two settings in the 'orientation' section of settings?

My sim has Allosexual, Cisgender, Alloromantic, Romantically attracted to female, sexually attracted to female, identifies as male. the other sims Cisgender, romantically attracted to male, sexually attracted to male, alloroamntic, allosexual, identfies as male. Identifies as male, romantically attracted to female, sexually attracted to female, Alloromantic, Allosexual, Cisgender the other sim that my man flirts with has no assignments. Settings are Orientations & identities impact gameplay ON and compatibility based on gender indentity not CAS gender OFF

in a house in the werewolf's neighborhood. in the option of "make quick decisions assignments" there's an option called "physical gender characteristics"- in this option, there are options like: 1. change pregnancy and impregnation aspect. 2. change walk style. 3. shift voice pitch. 4. switch clothing preference. 5. switch physical frame (only change sims clothing choices and look to the opposite gender , but don't change the actual gender from male to female or from female to male). 6. switch over arching CAS gender preference.

When I choose the main option "orientation and identity" there are 7 options: 1. make quick assignments (what I've discussed in my last comment) 2. LGTBQIA + mode global settings. 3. make changes to other sims/any sim. 4. view identity orientation and extras. 5. public and proud social decisions. 6. relationship and crush decisions. 7. decide to ponder orientation/identity.

Sounds like your sim either doesn't have a gender identity assigned or is cis. Can you check?

OK, sounds logical now...my sims is cis, recognizes herself as female (like the gender she was born to). are these surgeries only available to non-cis sims?

OK I have tried to make her a transgender and it showed up... so I guess the surgeries are only for non-cis sims...

Yes they are only for non cis Sims, so, agender, gender fluid, no binary, etc. In the future I might add different surgery for cis Sims (breast augmentation as a gender affirming procedure for cis female for example), but it's on the back burner due to the difficulty of having to find the right slider in the ocean of numbers and no name thzt the sliders are in code

I've just downloaded the mod and I love the concept so much! I've found that using the meet n mingle app causes the game to crash. Is this a known issue? Edited to add: I disabled 'no strings' in MC Woohoo and I was able to use it once, but on requesting a new match I got the force close again.

Age and assignments of the sim you tried it with? Is your game up to date? On another side of things : what are your computer specs in terms of processor and ram? This is demanding for the game when no match exists on the sim world for your sim, and if you Mr computer is weak, that could potentially lead to your result. So, make sure a match would exist, by having auto assigns for npc's on for a while for example. But please do let me know the answers to the questions above :)

Hello again! I gotta share, the mod did it again, but this time, sadly, from the other direction. I allow potential negative responses and last night when they aged up my new heirs twin got the "phobic" trait. This is a sim with a non binary parent who uses the parental title "Nobi", they/them pronouns, and while mostly presents in dress congruent with their birth gender does wear accessories traditionally associated with the opposite sex. Now my brain is spinning on how to handle the situation in a realistic manner. I would like to save the parent/child relationship, but I have to be honest that my teen will struggle. This mod is really helping me grow, making me think about angles I never explored. Thank you again 😊

Hello! I've noticed that the "Go On 'Meet&Mingle' Date with Matched Sim" Doesn't work and my sim will be frozen in place unless I reset them, is the incompatibility with the MC woohoo or is it something else?

It has always worked fine for me and many others BUT there are some users who have the same issue with it as you do. It has to do with your game not liking the sim generation process for whatever reason (a process that happens if no match exists in the world and the mod must create one). So, I would advise using this interaction on'y once you know for sure that there are some Sims in the world that would potentially match your sim. So for example if you have npc auto assign on for various things, and have been on several public lots etc, chances are a match should exist somewhere. Once again I have no idea why some users have this issue, sorry!

Hi, for reasons I don't understand yet, the 'reveal orientation' and 'reveal identity' interactions are sometimes missing until the player goes and re-does the same assignments under 'orientation and identity' then 'make quick assignments'. Can you try that and let me know if it gets it unstuck?

Hello! I am wondering if it is possible for NPCs to come out on their own without having to play them? My sims NPC girlfriend won't tell them her identity and orientation even though they're max relationship, so I think she might be in the closet.

Hi I really love this mod! I'm struggling to get the 'match romantic and sexual orientations' setting to work, seems to be particularly common in married Sims, like a sim thats married to a woman might be listed as bisexual but romantically only attracted to women. Is there any other settings I might have changed to make this happen?

Hi, usually that's due to cas assigns on played Sims and not to the auto assign system. The mod tries to adjust itself to reflect cas when not the other way around. In those cases, changing it manually is pretty much it! Hope this helps

Hi, my sim just discovered they were trans (so exiting, the first time its happened for me). BUT - they were afab, and now when it says they are trans it's keeping them as a female instead of changing to male. Is there some way to change that without changing the trans trait?
