It's fun to fieldtest a new model, but are you sure Goodwin's ready for public display, Commandant? You seem a little sensitive to criticism... If you lose, it could be quite an ugly disgrace.

this is one of the things I love about Unsounded; "Too Much Text"™️ all about The Horrors! And I can't help but feel "the shape of the teeth in the dark" is foreshadowing; either way, a dreadfully poetic line. that being said I can't get over just how feminine Rousseau looks, lol. I almost can't read his lines in a (what I expect is his) masculine tone.

Also Valentin sometimes gets called Magistratus and sometimes Magistarius. Is that a Tainish/Continental thing, or two subtly different titles, or just a typo?

Will we find out the reason for the purple heads too, or have I maybe missed it already? Rousseau is so cute and haughty :) Somehow I can really imagine him in an japanese highschool AU where he is a vice president of the almighty copper student council or similar~

Oh that's a juicy thematic juxtaposition in the first two panels: Tree lifting the Plat kid so she can see better without even being asked to (and after she stole an ear from him no less, if I remember right), next panel - the chair (kid) Plats. I feel this will be a big theme for the Aldish arc, people vs institutions.

That's fine! My brain issues makes me skip lines now and then so I mostly wanted to know that hadn't happened. I learn something new in Unsounded every time I do a reread lol, at least this keeps everything fresh for me.

I told them at the last meeting that the latest Goodwin build wasn’t fit for launch. We still need a beta test to iron out the kinks before he can compete on the market against all the Kissfist Baxter bootlegs
