Sure! As we know from past exploits though, that would result in molten stone (the khert adjusts the temperature to suit the new State). Which would be pretty dangerous to Will if Goodwin like, kicked it at him or something.

Absolutely, it could be put anywhere. It would actually be really tricksy to leave the apparent icy patch visibly right where it is, but move the actual slickness elsewhere invisible. You're thinkin' like a spellwright!

I set it at a high place and it disappeared in five minutes, so I think it was able to fly away to a nicer sleeping spot to wait the day out! That or a squirrel got it :P
