Take NOTE, Mr. Giz, how with his overwhelming presence, idiosyncratic speech, and tasteful Aldish fashions, Jigley commands the attention of the room as soon as he enters, even capturing Nora's attention and interest. You wanna get the hugs, you wanna be like Bugs, as they say.

Okay, let’s break this down: Jivi would obviously be noticed and obviously be uncomfortable for a myriad of reasons. He also is wholly ignorant of how any of the tech in that room works. Soooo, He loudly announces himself (thereby getting the obvious question out of the way and making himself a Problem To Be Ignored); Lampshades his ignorance to the tech and processes as “You all are immature savages beneath me”, which one of the workers seems to accept at face value; Addresses his disgust at all the death in the room as “Why don’t you have better corpses? Why don’t you have more?” (We can assume Sette coached him for these areas and that Matty helped him with the presentation. It is an interesting look into how Sette (and maybe Shartes in general) address their insecurities via aggressive insults.)
