Honestly a smart move from Orlina. Defuses the situation at the cost of one more big ow from the kid. Outside of some imagery, we won't hear from Durlyne again until the very end of the chapter. Let's conclude Bugman and the Necromancers (hot new band).

You're always doing great work but this last section here has been a tour-de-force (and no I'm not biased just because it's Mikaila & Duane('s dissection) we're bouncing between 😅); flipping back & forth so seamlessly these last several pages, highlighting the parallels & the consonance between father & daughter... oh it's so juicy, so good, very honed storytelling. Brava
