Would you still go skating with him after that?

I had something similar to this happen once. It wasn't a mouthful of meat but you know how sometimes your saliva glands will just totally wig out and you'll spritz spit out of your mouth all of a sudden? I had that happen right into the face of a guy I thought was totally dreamy while I was trying to talk to him about Doctor Strange comics. Panel three, man. My panicking soul.

Well, not with meatballs or spit directly, but there was an embarrassing moment of that sort in my school years. I was rushing to the bus stop in winter and there was a girl from my year already waiting there. I came up straight to her to say hi, but instead first exhaled just a giant cloud of the winter breath condensation right in her face (after rushing).

Per the random gouts of spit, I have found the solution to be giving one’s tongue a solid toothbrush scrubbing. Top and sides. When you try to close your mouth afterwards, you’ll almost always get a spit spritz. This is also one crazy line of discussion.
