Yes, bomb bad... but! I really don't like that people keep shooting the vliegeng. I like those creepy looking snake things. >:( (Sorry, I'm trying to keep the necroposting to a minimum, but apparently I have almost the same reaction to this as I have to dogs being hurt. And I'm unfortunately bad at symbolism, so gut reaction is what you get.)

Every now and then I wonder if this "Ashley" is just a nom de plume and her RL job is writing horribly sappy children's shows where the biggest danger is someone not getting a cookie the same size as everyone else. ...and Unsounded is her "I Hate Fairyland"-style therapy... Also, if you zoom in reeeeeeallll close on Sette's eyes in the second-to-last frame where the allpakh is reflecting in her eyes, the reflection is actually dollar signs.

If Ashley wants to pull our legs, she'll simply post a page on Friday of the Allepakh falling, growing in perspective, taking turns with Sette's expression intensifying. The last panel will simply be a close-up of Sette's horrified eye, with the Allepakh mirrored hugely in it.
