Everyone is pigeonholing everyone on this page, which I enjoy. Pretty rotten to compare two-toes to dogs and zombies though.

"Pretty rotten to compare two-toes to dogs". But I want to pet Ruffles. A lot. I am a monster.

Now I'm wondering. Have we even seen Bell? He seems really powerful, but he's constantly behind the scenes for such a dogmatic warmonger.

Noxae

I love this lady. Cool wheelchair, cool speech. I laughed at the 'you dickweed'.

The Clag

The rowdy sassy well spoken veteran in the wheel chair is the first powerful crescian I've liked, I hope she gets to make her mark before they all die horribly.

Rebecca Spano

pretty rotten but pretty inevitable. humans suck. kill more

Hagelslag

Pretty easy to talk about a war so horrific when it's not done against yourself. Loving the scene and this badass new lady though!

Mister Scarecrow

*ahem* Fuck Karl. That is all. Well, not all. Carrying over the spirit of previous conversation: This is what I mean by giving real life-likeness to the world and the people in it. It is one thing to write a well-ordered and interestingly crafted world with all its politickin' and intrigue but I think something that is harder to write is that, much like our own world, people are just chock-full of stupid ideas, cruel half-baked nonsense and ignorant bullshit. You, as the writer, know all (or at least most of) the answers, and have to sell the fact that the characters don't. Through the lens of small, simple minds, the world can be made to seem much larger and more complex, especially when we, as the audience have seen that it is very complex. Scenes like this, do a great job of giving perfect voice to those incredibly imperfect understandings and shit opinions. Especially Karl's. Holy fuck. Like imagine having the most smoothbrained edgelord take on the nature of war and politics and trying to sell a coup with it. Like actual arguments can easily be made that all sovereignty and political power ultimately derives from violence (either applied or implied) and holy fuck you still managed to sound like a moron you smirking twat.

The irony of Bell's statement about Foi-Hellock...
