Sounds like Murkoph is thinking that Sette has some kind of overarching plan for all of this? Doesn't look like that to me (at least not for the last few chapters of the comic), but maybe we're underestimating her? Or maybe it's just some coping mechanism ("I didn't want to kill this cute thing, but I was forced to do it")? ...or maybe he isn't referring to her at all, but I wouldn't describe the other... er, entity he could be meaning as "wee"?

Stop the clock, I think I figured out Sette's deal: Sette and Jacaranda's souls are voluntary cooperations of eels and squishes the same way Boo is. Sette's soul is inhabiting a human body because her soul found it dead in the womb and haunted it like a ghost haunts a pymaric with an open port.
