So apparently, newborns can regrow fingertips. Grain of salt and all that, this is not firsthand information for (what I hope are) obvious reasons. Baby's gotta be really young though, iirc a week is too old. There are various shots in the show where Maomao looks at her pinky and if you mimic that with your own hand and compare you can see hers is slightly misshapen in comparison. Good luck pacing yourself for season two. Consider: if you keep watching 4 episodes a week, you'll catch up for the end and have to wait at least a year for season 3. If you watch less, it'll last for longer and you'll have to wait less afterwards.
