Ooh this is intriguing. I think I started to figure out the idea after he mentioned the work-life balance and solidified it with the stairwell door situation. And argh I love how many little details there are, like just in the segment you rewatched with the good evening being replied to with see you soon. A lot sooner for one person than the other. I think the reason the outside people spoke weird is because they are terrifyingly strange people. I'm not sure whether boss lady remembers in general or not, but inside version of her should not know whether her mother was atheist or catholic or anything. And I don't think he changed the whole suit, he was wearing that under the coat wasn't he? Or it doesn't make sense that the tissue was still in his pocket. I have many questions about the logistics of how all this works. Can they quit? Get fired? What if someone has an appointment in the middle of the day? Or a more serious injury than the one we saw here? There's clearly more sinister stuff going on too. hmm intrigue :)

I think the implication with the boss is that it's known by the workers that she's not severed, but her outside persona is a total farce anyway. I'm a little ahead of you so I won't answer those questions. :p
