It's been three and a half years since we weighed in on the then-brand-new HBO series Westworld on the main podcast, and since then it's become, in many ways, a very different series — one that only Scott and Tasha have been keeping up with regularly (Scott in part due to his duties as the New York Times' official recapper). So the two of them convened to discuss their current relationship with Westworld, specifically its in-progress third season, which has moved the action outside the park(s) and into something like the real world, one populated by some notable new characters who are still revealing their ultimate role in this story. In this lightly spoiler-y bonus episode, Scott and Tasha get into their divergent opinions about how this narrative shift is working, particularly in the recent fifth episode "Genre," and whether the show has convinced them it actually knows where this story is headed.
